Do I count? I post in the e34 section and OT occasionally. The guys in the North Texas FB group seem to be mostly n00bs so I am not too involved in that either.
I am officially out of the BMW game. the E21 sold near the end of June. I still stop by and see whats up here though, from time to time.
Long time lurker, minimal poster. Check in here maybe once a month. Other then that either on Retro or Eurotic on FB.

ESS 625RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE
Bought my 2001 525it with about 105k, removed the intake manifold replaced the plastic water pipes cyclone valves ect,
recently lowered the headliner and removed the black roof rails, installed the painted filler strips, looks very nice. Up dated my radiator to a e39 m5 radiator, it drops right in but the core is thicker. Just repalced the windshield moldings and base cover around the wiper blades. So I have done a few things
I am older school than your 2000-2010 range. I work on computers at work so I want almost nothing to do with them when I am not working, so I am one of 6 people in the world that do not have Facebook. I keep myself to a few forums. Online I only have the stuff in my signature.
I am original owner of my 1999 M3. Started as daily driver, continued while being weekend auto-x and occasional HPDE car, then it was our only daily driver when my wife and I got married (the car had 30k on it in 2007, in 2012 it had 120k), then a few years ago it is now back to being [just my] daily driver. I have only rebuilt the vanos and replaced the radiator (cracked overflow tank), and front wheel bearings. I still love the car to death, and the fact that I have a chance of knowing how to fix it if it breaks.

Once a year. Usually when im looking for parts....
Says April 2001, still have the M3, but I mainly drive Toyota now. I was thinking about the 318 wonder what happened to it.
I need to find a shop in Dallas to redo the paint on the M3 the clear is flaking off.

hi
It's been a few years for me. Just picked up an e46 touring to haul the chillins around. Figured I'd stop in.
I'm around. Still have an E39 M5, E46 325i and E46 touring, but the latter are a track car and one I recently picked up with a bad motor (RWD and manual car). Usually stop by in search of parts lol.
Bruh.
My M coupe has been too reliable so no need for advice on here anymore. On the 6th BMW so maybe I'll be on here a little more.
Keep up with old BFC members on FB, barely.

old school, in the 2ks, ha ha ha. I am still cruising in the 80s in my e30s. and both of my kids have e30s too.
you guys think the texas section is dead, imagine the corpus section. back in the day ( early 2000s) when e30s were really big, we only had about 10 bmw/vw people total for car club meets. now that its 10 years later, the kids and I are the only e30s in town, it seems. every once in a while I see another but I don't know where they live or who they are. and as far as other models, I never see any at car shows, ever.
No e30s again.
lurker I was
