S54 swap CAN interface for proper CEL, A/C

I built a CAN interface for my E36 S54 swap and am now selling them. Works with E30 S54, E36 S54 and others. It talks to the DME via CANBUS and replaces some functions of the E46 instrument cluster such as driving a check engine light and A/C request signaling. It has 7 outputs that can be reassigned via software to perform some of the following:

-light up the check engine light in your existing instrument cluster
-turn an additional engine cooling fan on/off at any temperature you would like
-shift light at any RM you would like
-oil level warning light
-oil temp warning light

A little off topic but I was actually looking at doing an S54 swap. My concern is passing emissions. Would this work in being compliant with smog checks?

Yes, it is part of the solution by providing a functional CEL and emulating cluster functions that will allow setting all OBD2 readiness monitors (the DMTL part of evap is the tricky one). My car is smog legal in CA - https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...ap-98-M3-sedan
