A quick trip to Mehico for some vids would be mucho appreciated.
I sure wish I was going on vacation! Getting cold over here.
Yeah, Eagles got some chemistry going this year. The whole team is working as one. I hope they hold it together. Fun as hell to watch them this season. Pats romped on Raiders. Let's see what shakes out for January.

Got a short work week. Maybe a trip south could happen :/

Philly, i am planning to order one of two intercoolers below. As you are expert on this kindly sugest which one is better for me?
1. https://www.cxracing.com/liquid-to-a...WIC04-WP-50-04
2. https://www.cxracing.com/liquid-to-a...WIC04-WP-50-04

e39 540i 6speed Supercharged,
E36 v8 m62 with m60 headers, Turbp HX-40 0.6-0.5bar or 9psi, custom exhaust & Turbo manifold, injectors 440cc, ECU Invent EMS-2, Mishimoto Intercooler and oilcooler, etc…
Those are not what I bought, but likely they would work, but maybe, maybe not, as good. I gave links to what I bought in this thread previously, but to help you again.
Intercooler:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-L...item3a67cc49d0
CX sells this same one too. Bigger core than what you linked above.
https://www.cxracing.com/liquid-to-a...IC13?limit=100
Radiator:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/LOW-TEMP-RA...4383.l4275.c10
I got it for $109. The vendor that sold it to me at that price is out of stock now. Maybe shop around.
I chose this radiator becouse it fits better behind the Aux fan. You can get a CX one if you want and figure out how to mount it and make it work. You can teach us!
Pump:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is a better pump, but the CX would likely be OK.
You still did not make your own build thread on your car! Maybe its a good time to do that.

Bro, both of those kits from that website which you advised on 15th page. The issue is delivery to Tkm. Due to that it is better to order everything from one vendor to avoid extra payments. So, if you choose any which one you would buy?
Ps, i have no e39 fan, mine is from e60 and placed between engine and radiator. Due to that i think i should have enough space in front site.

I would not buy either of those kits, but they should work. I spent many hours measuring and figuring what to get, so you need to do the same to ensure your design will work. You can do your own measurement checking and decide for yourself. I can not advise you on which one to buy.

Phill, do me favor bro. As soon as you get couple of minuets make please few photos of IC final place. I want to see the back site of lights. Mine has a xenon and looks like a bit bigger than OEM lights.

Hi Philly,
Could you please have a look on attachment whether all dimension right or no & advise what is the approximately length of aluminum pipe from IC to throttle as shown in picture. If you mentioned about that length just let me know I will go through your thread one more time.

Lower alum pipe is approx 6.5" long. Clearance is very tight to the water pump pulley. You may need to trim a little off the ends of some of the silicone elbows too to get a good fit.

Instpected my front diff bushing and aluminum mounts the other night. All looks good with those parts. Alum not cracking (yet) and rubber looks OK still. I did notice that the flange on the rear of the driveshaft CV joint is occasionally rubbing the heat shield. There is a lot of clearance when at rest, so the front of the diff must be moving upwards under heavy loads. It looks to me the front diff mount and also the subframe mounts must be deflecting enough to allow the CV joint flange to rub. I guess I will need a stiffer front diff mount and maybe stiffer subframe bushings.

Yeaaaaaah, sooooooooo.................. What's going on here?
Lol. Absolutely nothing as yet. Looked at Powerflex bushings the other day, but just window shopping for now. Really enjoying just driving and goosing the car around. Car feels really fast and with cooler weather the rear end gets squirrelly a lot. Likely won't do much car work till holidays are over.

Time for some good old fashion ladder traction bars??
Philly, you used combination of silicon and aluminium piping, now after passing some period of time can you please advise? Whether it is better to use more aluminium and less silicon or more silicon and aluminium?

I'd stay with what I did. Aluminum picks up more heat and does not flex as much to take motor movement.

I have the M5 motor mounts. The motor does not move alot, but it still moves some and the IC is hard fixed to the frame/body. You could do more aluminum pipe than I did for sure, just need to be mindful of the needed flex. If you do more aluminum, I would insulate it too to prevent heat pickup. The silicone rubber is not as purdy, but it flexes some and insulates like 50 times (total guess LOL) better than aluminum pipe. The radiator heat blows directly on these.

Hi Bro, cached and noted all above. So, what is about 3" pulley as in attachment below. Is that good one and will I have any issue if I order them? Gaps problem or slipping?

I did not check that pulley for alignment. You need to do that. I detailed earlier in this thread what I had to do to the stock Vortch pullies to get them to align. I used the 2.87" pulley. I added all the extra pullies and new tensioner to ensure no slip. Did you read this thread? Come on Dov. Spoon feeding is getting old. You can do some checking on your own.
