    Hideous airbag warning sticker removal

How about it? Any suggestions of getting those removed from cloth (grey) visors?

I have not tried it, but maybe some steam would help softening the print off the cloth.

Nah, I hate 'em too. Thanks for the link, Flounder. I've got a set of black leather visors that need those warnings vaporized.

Believe it or not Awesome from 99 cents store works. Even the tackiness from the faded tint that was peeled from the window gets removed by it.

Never tried on an E39, my on my E46s, my heatgun set to 150º (as low as it goes) worked great. Was able to lift the sticker off with tweezers. Then I used some goo gone, water, and an iron to get the 12 year old residue out of the cloth. If you look at the right angle you can still kinda see where the sticker was, but otherwise unnoticeable.

E39 may very well be different

Put some duck tape over the entire label. Heat it lightly with a heat gun. Peel off the tape, the label will come with the tape.

I have a Corvette and ordered a custom stickers from a vendor with the Corvette logo and any wording you wanted on them. Unfortunately, I can't remember who it was or I would contact him about getting some made up for the BMW. BTW they look great
