Replica Window Stickers (Monroney Stickers)

If you haven’t seen the previous thread (http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/sh...window-sticker), I have made some replica window stickers for our 8s. There are two versions, a 91-93 and 94-97. I am trying to make them as accurate as possible, but took some liberties with some of the look. I don’t think the “options” listed with the price were on the original (aside for the $1k alloys in 91), but thought it look a little bland without them (as far as I know, there were no “options” after 91). Other than that, everything else should be very true to the original.

I’m looking for $20 shipped to you (it’s not framed like mentioned in the other thread). If you are interested, please let me know with the last 7 digits of your VIN.

Also, I am only doing 8 series right now. I did have a request for an older 3, but that will take a bunch of work and research to get going (I’m sure there are lots of options that will have to be researched for those).

If anyone has any opinions as to the accuracy, or any sort of comments, please let me know.

I realize that the last round didn't go all that well. I really have no desire to give myself a bad name here (I really need the forum for help on my 8er. This place is one of the most useful things around). I won't ask for payment until I have something ready to ship. Not looking to make a bunch of money on this, just my costs and a couple of bucks to go back to my 8 (I think I need a new intake gasket, o2 sensors and exhaust [plus 100 other assorted things]).

I didn't know Ice was banned, knew Tyler was, but that's water under the bridge. Thought I would post a picture of the sticker Pablo did for me, I am very happy with it. There is a Euro-fest show in Natchez in April and it is this kind of event I wanted this for, to give the general public looking some information about the car.

As a point of reference, I was told that these window stickers were all printed at the "port of entry" when the cars arrived .... and that there were minor differences in the window stickers as a result of the different printing locations.
If you were showing at Pebble Beach that might make a difference ...... but for what most E31 owners want them for ...... this new source is perfect. Thank you for your efforts Pablo

For those of you who may have overlooked this offer, or saw it and forgot to follow up, or who were so embittered by the last debacle that you ignored it, you have passed on one of the coolest offers around. Thanks for the kudos, and I'm glad you guys liked them. I'm trying to get them as true to original as possible (but of course, after 20+ years, it's impossible to be exact). If you do see any dependencies in what it should be, please let me know and I'd happy to correct them for you (the more input I get, the better they get). A third should also be arriving to someone within a day (sent 3 on the same day), and a few more should hopefully go out tomorrow. Any new requests I should be able to get completed and in the mail by early next week.

Hi adamnur. Did a quick check on your VIN and I believe it's a Euro spec car made for Japan. The stickers were a U.S. regulation, so I really can't get the detailed info. The window stickers were originally created at the port of entry in the US, so there wasn't one made for this vehicle (there may have been some version of one over there, but I have no idea what it may have looked like).

If you really want something, I would be happy to make something up and fill in some of the blanks with what ever you would like, but it wouldn't be something that was original to the car. Some of your options weren't even available to early US models (Which was too bad. I'm really a fan of those sport seats).

If anyone knows if there was something made for the other half of the world (should say nine tenths, because most of the 8ers did not go to the US).

Well that's a bit of a let down. Thanks for letting me know though, I wouldn't mind if some blanks were filled in but if some features are not present on the sticker then I'd rather hold off.
