Mocked up the oil drain today, how much slack or lack of slack should the line have? First pic is the way I had it at first and then second I pulled up on it more. Does it even really matter as long as it's not touching anywhere?
Got the drain fitting on the turbo and it doesn't quite clear the turbos exhaust housing. Should I grind it down or will it be fine touching? I just could see it being an issue since that's where all the heat comes from and I don't want it melting the AN fittings or hose
Test fitted Intercooler and Its too wide for the under the headlight routing so now I'm going to try to sell it and get a smaller one. I originally bought 31x12x3 but now I'm going to 25x12x3. The one I have now is realllyyyyyy close to fitting so I may just do some grinding but idk
I know that some people have gotten the 31 to fit but most end up cutting the frame rails. I wanted to be able to go back to stock so cutting was not an option. There is a 27x12x3 unit out there but it is back ordered. I am going with the 25x12x3 and if I have to hose mine down with meth then so be it. My 25 shipped and should be here soon and I will post pics. My hope is to squeeze it in and route the 3 inch pipes in the gaps between the high and low beams.

I may grind the unibody horns down a bit and then just prime and paint them because it's literally Like a half inch of less off, I don't see it really compromising any strength there. A also looked at the 27 and saw it was bad ordered, 25 isn't too far off anyway. I'll try selling this thing all week and if nothing I'll start grinding
Couldn't sell the intercooler so I hammered and grinded the unibody down about and now all fits. Just need to bring some canned primer home from work tomorrow and prime paint the bare metal so it doesn't rust.
Here's my new problem: the outlet clearing the abs stuff. I'm going to try buying a 3" 180 bend and seeing if that clears first but after that the only options I have are either to delete it (which I rather not) or move it over a few inches and remount it.
Hopefully the 3" 180 is a tight enough bend because putting two 90's together won't work.

You could get someone to cut off the outlet and weld on a tight radius cast elbow on there. It looks like that would clear. A 120 degree bend might do it to.
So i bought the innovate lc1 wideband controller and turns out they sent me a lc2 and I didn't even realize till now. Jordan (RK tunes) told me any innovative wideband will work with his datalogging software and tune but my question is how does a lc1 work differently vs a lc2 and if I will be fine with this lc2 one. I already have the power and ground hooked up to the wideband so I rather keep this one if it will work fine

Motor is 100% ready to go in, got the drain stuff all figured out and have everything I need besides BOV which I'm waiting on till the manifold and everything else goes on. Hopefully picking up a cherry picker this weekend and getting the m20 out and the m52 in

Figured out the driver side Intercooler piping. Just loosened up the mounts for the ABS pump and pulled it up and bent it out of the way so the 3" elbows barely clears also had to cut one of the abs mounts so the coupler had somewhere to go but now all fits and I can keep my ABS like I wanted to.
