Hard dead seat foam. Any solutions?

I have some seats that I need to repair. The leather is dry and the foam in the seat is getting hard. I got the plan for the leather issue but don't know any way to soften the foam. I am going to have the leather removed as I have a standard bolster wearing through issue. It is a Z3 so I plan to use leather from the back of the seat to repair the area. Any suggestions appreciated.

I haven't really head of "hard foam". It might just be getting old and drying out. Trying shopping around for SFI approved High Density Foam sheets. My father is a large dude and his weight takes a toll on seats and when we had his seats redone we used sheets of foam to freshen it up. If you're paying someone to have this service done consult with them or ask them about foam sheets that can be fitted to your car.

Hope that kinda helps or gives you an idea
