+1 on how much spacers help. I'm running 25mm up front on my oem LTWs. (with 235/40 or 225/45s)
Gracias Amigo -- 25mm up front? that's wide, brother!

    Wheels don't poke--even a little.

Even if it's an optical illusion, how it looks to my eyes, is how it looks to me eyes.

Yours looks great! I run a bit more negative camber, and run more spacer to reduce the even larger gap I have lol.

(this was with 245/40, which have been swapped to 225/45)

Nice work -- I can imagine the tire change making a difference there!

Car looks great tmswell! I saw you're selling the Dinan springs, why didn't you get on with them? I'd love to come check the car out in person soon. We were going to meet at Alice's weren't we?

Thanks! Yes, I am selling the Dinan Springs. I initially bought the Dinan Springs because those were really close to stock with a 1/4" drop and similar specifications. Really modest but felt a little better. The initial goal was to keep the car completely OEM/OE. Then some parts started failing that really didn't make sense to replace with OEM (such as the electric fan conversion, etc). When the struts started to go, I thought it was time to just get Ground Control and enjoy those; on my last M3 I had Koni (Damping-adjust) and ride-height adjustment and really enjoyed the ride and feel from that. So, as the struts started to go, thought it was time to dive into the Ground Control Kit (earlier than expected).
SO, overall with the Dinan springs. I felt a little more confident with them but I really shouldn't have slapped them on struts with less than 50% left in them.
The springs were a good alternative to H&R, Bavarian Auto, Eibach (just the spring kit), etc.

Had some time on Laguna Seca at the BMW CCA GGC Driving School.
A dry Saturday and a Sunday with rain/hail:
    Saturday
A view missed by most at the top of the cork screw (I didn't know that was the view till I saw the pictures because I was focused on the track. Glad to have this shot).

    Sunday
Picture doesn't do justice for the rain/hail

Not advised to touch the paint on a wet day but....

Laguna. What an iconic track. Very envious you got to drive it!

    - 98 m3, techno/anthrazit cloth, 124k and officially worthless - 89 m3, alpine/black 143k and officially old - 2000 323it, tiag/grey, 169k and officially boring

Those are some fantastic pictures and your car is looking at home going down the corkscrew! I can appreciate the hail that came down on Sunday as I live just up the coast (Santa Cruz) and it was impressive. Once I get my car up and running correctly I plan to do a BMWCCA track day at Laguna.

Right? I showed this to a lot of people that have driven LS over the years and they all were shocked to see that's the view from the top.
GotBlueMilk took these shots -- if he's at the track, you'll get this shot!

Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Almost makes me tear up to think I dropped mine off for a motor rebuild in September 2014 and those fuckers still haven't finished. Meanwhile I've sent them $6k worth of parts, built a formula car from a motorcycle, graduated college, and moved 4 times.

Brakes were so loud after the track day, I swapped in OE Rotors and Pads again. Not as aggressive but makes daily driving better.

Not really, there's a good amount of track days at MRLS every year (just sayin')

Looks like you had a good time! Glad to see people tracking these cars.

Haha -- should be more than once in a lifetime, true.
Looking forward to the next one, for sure.

    Thoughts?
Also, anyone thing 15mm wheel spacers would fit on the front? Currents are 10mm all-round and I plan to keep the 10mm spacers on the rear.

    Set up:
Wheels: OEM Contours - Style 23
    Tires - 225/45/17 (Front), 245/40/17 (Rear)
    Spacers: 10mm, Front & Rear
Suspension: (Ground Control) Koni Sport, Key-adjustable damping
Springs: (Ground Control) Eibach 450 (Front), & Eibach 500 6" (Rear)
Sway Bars: (Ground Control) Stiff/Large (Front), Soft/Small (Rear)

Yes, better (high quality pictures coming soon) also doing some micro-adjustments again so should look good.
At this point, the car FEELS INCREDIBLE.
I had a 95 M3 coupe and put my ground control sticker in the exact same spot! Brings back memories. That's a great suspension kit btw. Clean car.

Figured out a thrown wheel weight caused a barely noticeable vibration (oddly every 2 seconds).
