Been a long time since I've solved my last problem with my car, so now here's a new one :P
This one is making me slowly loose my nerves...
About 2 months ago my car started to adjust the side mirrors on its own.
It only happens when the car has been standing still for at least 10min with it being locked.
When i unlock the car and open the door, one of the side mirrors moves upward and out. This happens on the right or left side. I have not figured out what makes it choose which mirror :P
If i then push the memory recall on the seat ( button 1,2 or 3) the mirror just stays still. I can only adjust it with the knob.
I have checked the error memory with inpa, which said that there's a fault with the left mirror. I searched for info on this fault, but there's no 100% solution.
So I disassembled the left mirror, breaking the pcb in the process
People that had this problem had flex cable connections to the motor for the mirror, but mine has wires ( maybe because it's a pfl).
Now even with the left mirror dead only the right mirror moves... Inpa now shows about 3-4 errors for the left mirror as its broken but none for the right one.
I don't know what to do now, but inreally don't want to buy both mirrors in the hopes that it solves this as they are not really cheap :P
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, i did some searching. There's a ton of posts on various forums regarding this fault, but no one seems to have a definitive solution.
For the time being, i removed the fuse for the mirrors, untill i have the time to remove both door cards and do a conplete wiring check
