New batch of Powder Coated V8 valve covers fresh out of the oven!

New batch of Powder Coated V8 valve covers fresh out of the oven!

    Hello,

I had several pairs of valve covers professionally sand blasted and powder coated in wrinkle black paint.

Available for the following BMW models:

    1997-2003 540i (e39)
    1996-2001 740i / iL
    1996-1997 840ci

Asking $250 shipped anywhere in the USA. If you return your old valve covers to me, I will refund $50 upon receipt as long as they are not cracked or badly damaged.

Note: The used Lime Green valve covers are $150 and only fit the M62 V8 (made before 1999).

Price is $275 shipped in the USA. $50 of that is a core charge, refunded upon receipt of your old valve covers.

    List Date: 2/21/2016

Bump for a great price. I just bought a new set of m62 valve covers and these things are through the roof. Wish I would have seen this sooner. Good luck!

    Thanks!

BTW your car is really nice! Would love to check it out if you're ever at any of the San Diego meets. I used to have a '98 540i w.the S/C and stage III also.

Can you tell me about the process you used to prep and powdercoat these?

Sorry for the delay, I was out of town at a wedding last week and just got back yesterday.

The valve covers are first degreased, then pre-cooked at high temps to expose any major air bubbles that were trapped from the original casting. Sometimes this step means the cover gets tossed. Next they are blasted with walnut shell media, inspected again for cracks or chips, and then finally coated.

    I hope this helps!

Looking for a nice set for my 1998 M62B44 (non vanos) engine.

Just wanted to make sure you had a set of the non vanos in stock?

    Thanks
