E34/E32 strut compatability?

Hey guys, are E32 struts direct fit to E34??
So let's say EDC III struts from E32 are a direct bolt on to E34 without any issues even know P# are different?

E34 has 3 different top mounts for different years, but the whole assembly is fully interchangeable. E32 front struts of the same year range are identical to E34. EDC probably has different valving or something, but should work no problem.

E32 is very likely to have LAD on the rear. That's a problem for an E34 that doesn't have it.

E32 iL = long wheel base all have LAD on the rear as standard. All i had standard shocks, EDC was optional extra for all E32. Older E32 have EDCI, the simple version where the wires come out on the top, and later they got EDC III which are much more complicated.
Also early E32 had different standard shocks, hole diameter of the shock mounts are different. up to 03/1988.
