After a tie rod replacement, I threw off the steering angle. The car wasn't trailing, as I counted the turns on the thread. But the steering was at around 5 degrees while going straight.
ABS, DSC, 4x4 lights came on. I just hoped that the turned steering angle while going straight is throwing the DSC. I had the car aligned, correcting steering angle, and all is fixed.
I Know this is 2 years old but I'm having a similar issue with the Trifecta lights after a minor accident that broke the right tie rod.
Did you need to rest the code after the alignment or did it reset on it's own?
