I had to use this for some reason I never fully understood on mine because of the DBW, but it also has a brake light switch built in. Works great.

I just used a universal brake light switch from Painless and that works perfectly. So this thing is pretty much good to go, besides my strange power steering issues. Did you use a "flow control valve"? I'm getting quite a lot of squealing from my power steering pump.
Not that I am aware of, but I believe its built in to the return fitting on the LS pumps?
So everything worked out for the first day back at the track. I got a new belt and the power steering stopped squealing, so that's awesome.
Here's a vid. Still trying to get used to the power difference.
sounds so good!
always trying to make it lighter and faster

Hey man nice build! Just wondering what you did for a driveshaft?
You know, I've seen this build thread, but never put 2 and 2 together. I think I've seen your car out at RSD! The thing is an absolute monster, I hope my e46 eventually becomes something just like it!
