    Stage 1 of S50B32 complete and some parts that will be sold

    It's been a long time coming but the engine build and first dyno session is finally done. As a result, I will be selling off parts that were not used and most of which are brand new. I'm only posting here in advance since this section of the forum is specific to the euro engines.

    The engine is fully built with all forged internals, BMW Motorsport GTR crank, BMW Motorsport cams, headers and harmonic balancer. Everything is new even down to the oil pump, water pump etc.... Fully functional vanos, 11.5 to 1 compression and 93 pump gas. This is a "street" engine and going into a street car. The project is way more than the engine but I can't get into all the details. When all is said and done I'm sure you will hear about it.

    I can't give exact numbers on the engine but suffice it to say it easily exceeds the power of an S62. This is a collaboration between Scottsdale Motorsports and Fletcher Made Horsepower (Chris Fletcher). If you don't know who Chris Fletcher is just think one of the PTG master engine builders. Engine tuning was done by Franz Diebold - one of the best tuners in the country!

    There are other parts that I'll be selling besides the one's pictured below such as a brand new standalone DTA S100 plus all the extras that come with it.

    The dyno sound nice! Too short, but nice.

    So if not 284s, which cams will you be using?

    Well I do have a pdf of both the group N and A (iirc)parts catalog and part numbers, but man, the prices....

    So for now I'm more than happy keeping mine 100% stock.

    We all have those catalogs but getting the parts isn't necessarily easy and damn near impossible here in the U.S. I know you're in the EU btw.

    Some stuff has been replicated as exact clones and can be had for quite a bit cheaper too.

    Car ran great. Thanks for asking. Almost forgot about this thread. Yes I do have the Goke intake. Funny you posted because I'm finally getting around to posting for sale all the items I didn't use or will not be using - including the Goke intake.

    This was only phase 1 so there's a lot more that's going to happen.

    I ended up using this intake in case you were wondering.

    Thank you. Headers and full exhaust is BMW Motorsport. I used 288/272 BMW Motorsport cams.

    I have not done a final dyno run yet. This is a big project with many phases. It's taking way more time than I ever imagined.

    Thanks for the response, I'm in the market for a new carbon intake. Is the one you ended up using a real CSL intake (sorry, I cannot really tell).

    Also, what ECU are you using? My MSS50 is not accepting any more re-flashes and the alpha-n runs pretty grumpy with schrick 284 cams and 6,500 feet of elevation. I'm sure I could find a used ECU and have it tuned to run pretty well, but a standalone is something I'm heavily considering.
