They don't really exist for our cars. Angel eye rings are generally just that, rings - and there is no place in our headlights for a full ring. So you are pretty much stuck with rings smaller than the actual lenses if you want angel eyes.

I think someone needs to produce a newer style angel eye with the flat bottom to put into our headlights...

Umnitza used to have a CCFL that fit the standard light (8+ years ago). I think he took so much flack around here that he stopped carrying them (or probably just wasn't selling them).

It might be worth a phone call to see if they have them lying around.

We carry Orion COB, Orion V2, and V4 and they can be made to custom fit.
We also recently started carrying Orion DTM (square bottom rings).

We have never fitted it, but dimensionally, they should fit.

Do you have the dimensions for those units?

The flat-bottom DTM models look like they would be an easy install in a Z3 housing. It seems like you could probably attach the flat bottom to the bottom of the housing and be done with it. No fiddling around with attaching it to a projector or diffuser lenses.

Nice! That's great info. How do we get them? Would love to get the LED halos over the stock lenses after adding a projector to the low beam side.

I went the DIY route heating up acrylic rods in order to get the flat bottoms. Wired each angel eye in series with 220 ohm resistors per angel eye and wired them to a relay acc+/pos terminal. Instead of cutting ridged through out to illuminate the entire ring I thought sanding the entire ring would illuminate them enough.

I was wrong. So either I need to rewire them with a different resistor or parallel instead of series or I need to dremel the ridges all around.
    Any Ideas?
