Does anyone know where I can get this part? Is it interchangeable with 36106853736?
I have a 2013 320xi. Thanks.

Update. I found the part 36106853736 used on eBay (about $80). I just installed it and it worked. It was very simple. As soon as I plugged it in the system was ready to go. It just needed to be reset and I drove around for a minute and everything went green and I was good to go. No calibration or dealer input needed. Thank you to the forum for having the information available to make this repair.
I never find it and BMW said me it was under rear passenger seat....

Just answering for those who don't know, after March 2014, the tire pressure monitoring system antenna/module is integrated in the DSC MK100 module. So you will not find it by the fuel tank.

The pictures helping locate the RDC receiver were very helpful. Thank you! The fact the dealer tried to say all this programming was necessary is such B.S. They pull that on most components. Never heard a clear explanation what "reprogramming" means (and I'm a programmer) -- my sense is its not much more than clearing the fault code thru OBD. I'll find out - I'm replacing the part as soon as Amazon delivers an OEM replacement, incidentally, for well under $300.

My 2013 F30 335i xdrive was diagnosed with a faulty RDC module @ 90000 miles. Car started issuing a TPM malfunction as seen in other posts. My tire guy checked the valve stem on each tier and determined each was sending signal; RDC just not reporting anything to main computer. Went through the forums so I could locate it but it seems BMW frequently moves the RDC. For this model its located between the rear wheels about 12" left of center. It's very accessible from underneath. After finding it, it took minutes to remove, a trip to the dealer with $300 for a new one, and a few minutes to install. Started car and it immediately worked. Despite what dealer tech said, I found no "programming" was needed (lots of mixed experience on this, too). TPMS is reporting now. Took old unit apart and found standard corrosion. Estimate from my reliable (?) non-dealer BMW repair shop was just over $500. I'm glad I did this myself.

I too had the same malfunction. Switched from my winter to summer wheel set thinking it might be a bad TPMS sensor. When that didn’t work I pulled the RDC and opened it and found corrosion and tried to clean it, but No-Go. Twice I ordered a compatible used RDC online from salvage yards that advertised the item with the same part# and software version, but both times the yard found out they no longer had the RDC. Finally ordered a new RDC with the newer superseding part number (36106855180) and newer software. Plug and play install. No programing needed. Thanks to the previous poster for his info.
Thank you everyone for the input and pictures. The post above definitely helped me. I too have a 2013 335i (not xdrive), which had been giving me a TPM malfunction every time I started the car for the last couple months. Had the tire guy check the valve stems and confirmed they were all sending signals. I found my RDC module in the same spot (between the rear wheels, towards the front of the left wheel), and was accessible without raising anything. Was able to do the swap with the car on the ground in a matter of minutes. Pulled out the 36106853736, and ordered the 36106855180, swapped it out and voila, worked perfectly!
you pay 1hr for diag and you pay for the install of the part. RDC does not require programming. Some modules do and programming is charged at 1hr labor.
thanks. A few months ago when it got warm mine started getting flaky and dropping out for 20-30 minutes. When it does it it comes back eventually and then will be fine for weeks, then it will randomly do it a couple times more That day and be fine for another couple months.
If I were to give my Touring a first name, I'd probably name it "Alan".

I had a warning on my iDrive, Tyre Pressure Monitor (RDC) failure. I was not sure if it was a sensor in a wheel or the actual unit itself. I checked tire pressure in all four tires and their sensors manually and replaced them one by one, but it didn’t work. I then tried resetting the tire pressure monitoring system (RDC) and it worked. I didn’t have to replace any sensor. If you face the same issue, don’t buy the RDC module before resetting it. I suggest reading this blog they provide complete information about fixing tire pressure monitoring system (RDC). Here is the link https://xenons4u.co.uk/blog/bmw-tire...ure-explained/
