How to get relay sockets out of fuse box top?

Hey all,I'm doing some harness thinning and need to get into the fuse box. I have the four torx screws out and can lift the fuse box top. I know I need to release the relay sockets from the top next, but I can't. I can feel a tab under there, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. It seems that that side of the socket is already free and I need to work on the side with the little track the socket slides on. The sockets will release down into the fuse box right? Any tips would be much appreciated.

I think you have to pull out on the tab instead of pushing in and then lift out the relay. I do remember it being the opposite of what made sense at the time.

    This might help.

    Remove the white upper lock
    Push up on the pin
Compress the two tangs at the same time
    Pull out from the bottom

I've been reworking my spare harness for a project and needed to rework one of the factory relays.

I'm talking about just getting the white block out of the fuse box lid so I can remove the lid. Any advice there?

    Picture for clarification?

If you're talking about the white relay/pin retainer they unclip from the black body.

I want everything shown in the ECS picture to separate from the fuse box top. My end goal is to remove the fuse box top while leaving the relay wiring/holders in tact.

So i should have said "remove white/black fuse holder from fuse box top"
