Need to flash E46 M3 ECU tune back to stock.

Bought an E46 M3, found out from owner it has a tune. I need to flash it back to a stock tune. How and where can I get that done from? Friend has a AUTEL scanner/reader will that be able to flash it back to stock? I can also pull the ECU off and send it off to get it completely hard reset, will that work as well? All I'm looking for is to flash it back to stock settings with no tune. Any ideas?

Autel will do no such thing. Maybe find out exactly what you got, sell it and buy a DME on eBay or in the WTB section. I'm sure there are a couple guys that have them.
You may need your "-------" aligned for the new DME to work. But probably best bet and maybe profit in the end.

I can do this for you.
We can flash it with the newest available original software that matches your VIN. It will overwrite any aftermarket tune that is on the DME.
Please send me a PM for more details, thanks.

It's easy to do with WinKFP and a K-DCAN cable at home

Will it restore any stock tune data portion even after the WinKFP software update?
