Holy crap, tight fit lol. Is that the same AR manifold you had? I guess bigger turbo means even less clearance if so lol.

Yes, same AR manifold and the same housing. I have to fit a blanket between the housing and the valve cover. I had one on there before but its a super tight fit.
sure can, let me know

Too add insult he didn't even need to swap motors, his old one was fine! Lol
Most of us blow our shit up and take forever to fix it. He's just like" well I want more compression and power, let me build another motor and swap it in with a bigger turbo in a week."
Ballin
Lol he really wanted an excuse to put in the built trans.
I didn't get a chance to polish my new 6-speed, the last one was polished and clear coated

When I mocked up that manifold in my car I planned on running a T4 flange as a spacer and drill and tap it for EGT and pressure

yes, the spacer is good to move the housing away from the valve cover but then it hits the front of the strut tower...
Started sorting some wiring out, over the years after adding more electronics (ie BC, WBO2, E85 Analyzer, Gauges) the wiring was getting alittle sloppy (yes I said sloppy lol) so I rewired everything to a central fuse block. Seperate main power supply with replays etc. Much better now. Next is going to get a good ground.
Progress!

It's all about how badly you want to get the heat away from the valve cover. IMO I wanted it further away. Thus I was willing to provide some clearance on the strut tower with some massaging with a BFH and cover it with reflect a gold to gain the space from the valve cover.
