Mtech2 steering wheel swap on to '95 540i

Hey everyone, any tips on exactly what I'll need to do a steering wheel replacement on my 1995 540i? I've got an E36 Mtech2 wheel nicely wrapped in alcantara. I know I'm going to have to unplug the airbag light, but has anyone else done this exact swap?

What exactly are you unsure of? The stock steering wheel uses different wiring from the Mtech 2 but other than that it's a straight swap

Is this the best option for keeping the airbag light off when swapping from airbag to non-airbag wheels?

I did the exact swap, and I used this as a guideline. Only difference is the E34 has a 1 stage airbag.

According to member mottati, you can just unplug the module on the bottom of the column in these cars. I somehow have yet to do that even though it will take ~1 min and the SRS light is the only light on...

How do I get the horn to work? My car was a airbag car. I installed the new heel and it fits perfect but no horn.
