What power are you making with the 6466?

575/515 at 18.5psi, on a beat s52 block. New motor this month and a redyno hoping for more timing with proper squish and 650whp.

I'm on gate only and make 500wtq at 4k.

unfortunately i dont have it, the operator at the dyno day was a huge dick.

I have posted the 500/500 graphs in my thread.

With the new motor i will be making the long trip to the good dynojet/operator i used the first time.

Edit-- Just thinking about it i actually think i may have a picture on the good camera. I was tuning not wielding the camera so im not certain.

From my original dyno day 473wtq @ 4006 rpm, 93 pump only on medium timing, no EBC..

Note i added 3-5* in the 4k range after that day, we were hunting high rpm issues which turned out to be poor ring seal and didnt spend any time with adjusting midrange timing.

You know the big bw's will fit on the steed too right? Turbo size really shouldn't be an issue with the new steed (s400 series maybe but all of the s300's fit)

I thought the s366 would be a tight fit. That turbo is too laggy for my needs anyhow. I have a friend with a 4088 in his car that's local to me, going to see if I can take a ride with him to compare to other setups I've seen

I too have decided to join the dark side once again! Found out we can get an OBD2 turbo s52 to pass smog here relatively easier now. The Z3 Coupe will be getting some boost!

i dont believe that the s366 should be considered a laggy turbo.

As compared to a 6266 or a 6466? Or even a 4088? I'd think so. But then again. I don't have much turbo experience lol

Will do a proper build thread too. No rush on this, need to get my 6 speed, and all the z3 mcoupe suspension, brakes and subframes swapped from my Ti to the coupe, and put the zf 5 speed, and new bushings in the coupe stuff for the Ti. Then I need to sell the Ti to fund the coupe build, lol.

On the alternate list for the Steedspeed TS mani, and luckily I still have my old 3.3L motor, that already had forged CP pistons, ARP2000 stud and the ported non-Vanos head. Going to throw some K1 rods in it, put my fresh Dr. Vanos on it, and get a cut ring to drop compression from 11:1 down to 9.5:1. I want to run a 6466, and will get the 115 e85 injectors and necessary fuel system upgrade to run big boost. I want 450whp on pure 91 and the ability to turn it up to 750whp on e85 .

Its a 6673 in common turbo parlance, so it is on the large size among popular turbos for the 3.0L S50 and 3.2L S52. 73 is a big turbine to motivate. A GT4094 is a 6868, for example. Big usually means laggy, though fancy tech like ball bearing and titanium -- of which the S366 has neither -- can help. I'd call the S366 a high flowing bang for the buck turbo, but won't call it responsive until I see a dyno of one on an S50 or S52 showing good response.

The problem with those graphs is everyone started at a different rpm which skews results..

The lower you start the higher your torque curve will be, because the turbo has more time absorbing energy.

What's considered full boost ? Cause I can hit full boost by 2200 rpms. If I decide to only run a couple pounds.

I have logged 19.6 iirc by 4k, this was punching it at 3k and lifting at 4k . just to see if I could hit 20. At that time controller was set to 20.X or 21 I don't remember. But I do know it didn't hit 20+ at 4k. I think 4100 I did. This was on the street.
