There isnt a benefit to running a profile like that on hydraulic lifters... there are different design characteristics for each solid and hyd lifters. You can run solid cams on hyd lifters but it isnt a benefit. Vac is probably selling them so they dont have to stock another another type of cam at that duration.

They have a different profile for hydraulic and solid lifter s52's. My car had the hydraulic lifter setup, and the track car I run with Garage5 had the solid lifter versions so I've seen them both.

Keeping track on what's next here so I have some accountability. Took the car apart and kinda lost focus after life got in the way.

    Needed:
-VAC dampener (was going to rock with the stock one, but was persuaded against it since my old motor threw a rod)
    -6 bolt Driveshaft
    -EBoost
    -Zeitronix
    -Turbo
    -Piping
-M50 Manifold w/stock TB (I think my old setup with the monster TB is too big to weld a pipe onto and clear the driver's side fender tower. Current M50 is bored out to accommodate TB and can't put a stock TB back on)
-E36 throttle cable ( big TB took e34 cable)
    -Longer A/C line
    -Miscellaneous hoses and fittings

If anyone has this stuff F/S or knows of any for sale, please let me know or point me in the right direction.

Got the turbo manifold, dp, and dump tubes coated already. New motor can go into the car with twin disc, tranny, rear end conversion, fuel system, etc. I'd really like to finish this car before the end of summer, fall is perfect driving weather where I am.

Does anyone have any pics of the necessary vacuum ports that need to go onto the M50 manifold? Do I need one for each wastegate since I have two or can it be T'ed into one? Would like to have all the ports and such done before installing manifold. Also, any pics of deleted crankcase hose from under the manifold for a boosted car? Any help is appreciated.

Another thing, do you guys use both puller and pusher fans? Or just the slim fan that goes behind the intercooler that replaces the A/C fan?

Leave the bigger throttle body, tight radius coupler should be fine. Have a picture of it?

Piping is easy, set the car up on wastegate for now, add zeitronic and eboost later.

Contact chris and order a DSS shaft.

Honestly id use stock dampner, 7250rpm anf your good, if youwant to change in future its a 30-40 minute ordeal to swap out.

Idk if you can see it clearly but it sticks out way farther than a stock TB would. The boot had to rest on the shock tower.

I don't trust my stock dampener so I'd have to either find a stock one or the VAC one. Either way, I'm not going to jeopardize a $4k motor with an improper dampener. Better safe than sorry lol.

I use both a pusher and puller. One for the A/C. One for the cooling.

Got almost everything needed to go ahead and pull the drivetrain and swap in all the new stuff at once. Need to find a stock M3 obd2 throttle body since idk where I left mine and figure out vacuum lines from the M50 manifold

How did y'all set up your vacuum lines? multiple lines off the manifold with drilled taps or one line to a vacuum block and separate them from there? I have a couple pics Anthony was kind enough to send me, just would like to double check before drilling holes if y'all have pics/descriptions also.

I drill and tap threads on the manifold. I like to dab epoxy on the threads before running them in.

I usually tap 3. Boost gauge, fpr, bov.

I also have another for dyno hookup.

    Pics?

Another question I forgot to ask, which taps did you guys install? (As in, what to order to install into manifold)

I do the same as vollosso. I tapped my intake for the BOV, FPR, and boost gauge. All 1/8 npt. BOV I think was a 3/16 or 1/4" barb , FPR was 1/8" I think. vac/boost sensor screwed right into the manifold with some Teflon tape.

Drill the manifold out undersized. Use a stepless taper bit to get'er just right. Dab the threads with 2 part epoxy.

An N/A guy looking to the darkside. Help me build boost!

I thread two in the front of the manifold.
I thread one in under the brake booster for the boost gauge. But i also like to tun the boost gauge out that way.

Bought 2 orders of these (4 in total). Trying to find what other size exactly that i need for the Tial Q50 BOV, seems to require a bigger one.
