Pilot Sport MXX3 SX's vs Kumho MX

I currently have the SX's on my car, and im planning to change to the Nittos (on the other thread), or the MX's.

Are the MX's any better than the Michelin SX's?

I drive witht he SX's they have pretty good grip, but their break-away point didnt feel very forgiving (Aka broke away fast!).

What do you guys think? oh and sorry for two threads!

The MX is very predictable at the limit. I had the MXX3 briefly before switching the MX and found the dry grip to be comprable. Never saw wet weather, though.

I dont know much about the Michelins, but I'm assuming they are a "mid line" performance tire, since they market the Pilot Sport, and PS2 as their highest performing tires.

With that said, I have found the MX's to have more dry grip than any other street tire I've used. I've driven someone else's car HARD (auto-x) with the Pilot Sports and the MX performed better IMO.

I'd skip the Nittos. For the amount they cost, you can get much better tires.

So, if you want the maximum dry grip at an awesome price, go with the MX's.

Yep dry grip with the MX is awesome. The MXX3 is no longer made, right?
