Hello im new here, well this is my 1st post anyway.
I need some help getting the front passenger seat controls working. So far ive swapped all the seat memory motors over from the donar car and also the entire seat loom with the special part seat switch pack. Ive also got the p bus signal wire coming from the seat plug fitted now but this is where im stuck, where does the p bus from the seat go to and also the p bus from the rear armrest? Passenger door module, if so which pins? If anybody has completed this retrofit, knows the correct information or has a computer capable of accessing wds as ive tried 4 different computers now and had no luck. I have everything else wired up now and working in the rear armrest so would be a shame to not get the seat controls working.
Thank you in advance.

IIRC - The P-BUS wires from the seat and the rear arm rest switch go to the P-BUS splice point located behind the glove box.

The above is correct. They both go to the P-Bus splice behind the glovebox.
Nothing is needed inside the passenger door unless you want to put in a second memory switch in the passenger door for fun.

How easy is it to add the memory button on the passenger door.
One of the writeups on E38.org has information.
Run 4 wires to the door module, one to night light and one to ground.

I had to alter my loom for the sports contour seat as all cars which came with this option new came with comfort contours. Pretty straight forward though. Live and earth from the seat splice. Ive not added a memory motor for the thigh support though as it would have no benifit fora rear passenger. I may add Iit at a later date.
I've just got chance to drop my glove box (raining and dark), it appears my p-bus splice is already full. Any ideas?

If the splice is full, the best thing to do is just get a bigger splice and migrate everything to it.
You can order the "fan" which comes in a line of 17 for you to cut-to-fit, and order the black casing of the appropriate size.
Easier would be to find a spare of the right size from a parts car.
A non-active, non-passenger memory, non-rear MID car will need 4 wires, and a fully equipped one will need 6; looks like you need to upgrade your 5-wide splice to a 7 (they only come in odd numbers).
My brain is stuck in first gear tonight. thanks I have a couple spare fans anyway ill swap it over tomorrow.

5th wire on my car must be for folding mirrors.
