Theres a couple issues with that.

1.Merging the downpipes between the rad and front of the motor would be insane. Pie cuts for days

    2. Getting a 3.5 or 4 inch tube to fit between the starter and frame rail would be impossible.

Although K did have a good idea this weekend, keep them seperate 3 inch down pipes, make them oval and go under the subframe and merge them after the engine. That could work and is being considered. But material cost will be substantially higher. It would require oval piping, more vabands, ect.

Oval piping is retarded expensive. Not looking forward to buying that.

I know Jesus,.. that thing is genius, and I say that instead of beautiful, because it's not all chrome or painted pretty, but if you know your stuff about cars you know about all that plumbing and equipment being so deadly serious, genius

Do you have "visual" inspection of the exhaust or actual emissions where you reside? I remember when I was open dp and it was fun for awhile. But you needed headphones from 60+mph haha.

    we do, but its weird.

So when you register a car, its needs to have the emissions tested. It doesnt need to pass, just tested. So what i usually will do is go to emissions and fail, and you are still allowed to register the car.

The problem is in 2 years, when its time to renew the reg, the emissions has to pass.

But ive never had a car longer then that so its never been an issue for me, and i have my other chassis that will pass emissions legitimately so when i make the chassis switch, i will be good.

This car has about a year and a half left. If i choose to keep it longer, i will have to register it in someone elses name and get another 2 years.

There are loopholes and Waze I have gotten around having to pass omissions owning a car a lot longer than two years of explain the details when I remember and/or read exactly what they are, but basically if the car is registered to a senior citizen a.k.a. a family member of some sort and The car drives less than a certain mileage per year it doesn't have to have a mission so for the longest time I had my 540 registered to my mom and just lied about the mileage i put on it... Nobody ever checked because it never had to be inspected, it's still in her name to this day, although the mileage, has reduced significantly annually because it is now my weekend driver and not my daily

I have vband 4" side exit and can swap to 4" aluminum full exhaust on my big cammed 4banger. The side exit never stays on for more than a week. It gets annoying fast. The sound bounces off very passing car, highway divider, etc and it's LOUD.

Passenger side exit may be better and maybe v8 would be better but not sure that would make a difference.

It does sound mean as hell at idle though.

Lol I don't care where I go as long as there's a track near by and it's warm lmao.

i was in Georgia all weekend at lights out 7 watching all the drag radial cars go 200mph in the 1/8 and it was 75 and sunny every day.

but you fuckers have convinced me, it's getting a full exhiast. We are going under the subframe, keeping both down pipes seperste until after the trans where we will merge to a single 4 inch all the way out.

it seems that 3 inch will have plenty of clearence under the subframe but if it ends up bottoming out a lot, we will switch it to oval 3

FL/GA/AL is good for weather and racing. Lots of tracks and good weather. Which is why my northern friends live off my racing videos in the winter lol.

Also, I've been trying to convince my friend with an LS swapped e36 to go turbo for almost a year now, maybe once he sees videos of this thing he'll get the idea lol.

agreed, and all the none southerners I went to college with all were using "y'all" after a year and a half in school... Admitting it was a very useful and meaningful word
