Another decent weekend.
Set up some street runs in Long Island. Had deposits, everything all negotiated, then on the day of they realize my car is twin turbo and not single turbo, and then they backed out. Not sure why the amount of turbos made them feel any differently considering i could make more on a pro mod 88 or something.
Then i dragged the car down to atco sunday for what was suppose to be a no prep event, but apperantley they cancelled that and it was just a test and tune, but there were so many street cars there that the prep sucked anyways. I had setup a run a couple weeks before with a nitrous LS fox body on a slick. I treed him pretty good and then spun, but was able to pedal it and stay a car in front. Made 100$
It was stupid hot out. Car didnt wanna make power. Best MPH was 122 in the 1/8 on 24ish psi.
Side note- I changed the plugs and wires before atco and everything in that regards looked great. Nothing concerning at all there. But i have been noticing an oil leak from the head gaskets. At this point, i assume the block and heads are twisting around when its turned way up, causing the leak? I dont know, but YOLO.
Trying to set something up for some decent money in the bronx soon with a CTSV. More on that to come.

It looks fast in all its youtube vids.
It sure would be awesome to see the YouTube vid of an ol' 328i pulling on the Uber CTSV.

Updates-
i repurposed my oem oil light to indicate target boost launch. I’m not a fan of gauges but I needed to know when the car is near 5-6psi for my launch. So I stole the light from the gauge, set up a pwm table and have it about 50% for 3-5psi and then 100% for 5-6psi (target) and then it goes off above 6.5psi.
in this vid, I have it set to tps just to test

Here’s the run from atco on Sunday. Small money, friendly grudge race. I freed him but it immediately smoked the tire so I pedaled it and got it together. Got him by maybe a car
his car is a lsx nitrous fox body. Car works very very well. Car goes bottom 9s every hit

Glad your having fun with the car bro
More updates-
aligned the car today. I never aligned it since raising the rear and eye balling the alignment.
well the results are in- my eyeballs aren’t as accurate as I thought.
car had 1.5 negative camber and a lot of inward toe (negative? Idk)
so im now at 1.5degrees positive camber, oem toe. It might rub, but it might not. I also swapped the tires side to side because the inner edge was the only thing doing anything.
next planned track visit is a rental next Friday. I’m having thoughts of ripping every single thing out of the car to lose weight, put it on 28psi and go real fast.

Weekend updates- got invited to a small tire shoot out on the street, had a great time.
i was way out of my league for the street, but got paired up with a sn95 nitrous mustang, prolly a 9.2-9.4 car.
It was like 40f out and they only allow prep on the burnout. I left still in vacuum and it still spun. He was on slicks and gained like 4 cars on me. Once I got it gathered up, I yanked him in pretty hard but ran out of road. Lost by 2 cars, maybe less.
it was a good time. Glad I went.
track rental this coming Friday. Been playing with Power managment and I think I know what to do. Hopefully going 8s
