If I do it through the ecu it'll allow me to have a bump box also. And plus, I don't wanna be fumbling with switches

Got the exhaust done. It still needs some finishing and the pics look like shit so I'll snap some when I finish it after tx2k17
but basically it's 3 inch out of the turbos, they merge basically right under the drivers frame rail and dump out the front bumper as a single 4 inch right in front of the drivers wheel. It's short, looks sweet and should sound good. The gates are recirculated like last year
ive got 2 wideband so I'll run banked closed loop fuel correction

Also ordered 6500$ worth of ms3pro ultimates and harnesses for my car and a couple other cars that are going together, so that leaves some small stuff and a driveshaft

Its not much bigger then the original one, but the end tanks are much smaller/tighter

I'm realizing more and more everyday that I'm more excited about finishing and selling the car and buying a big, sloppy 60-70s american muscle.
ideally, I'd get the car together, street race it for the season, bring it to the track and run my personal goal of 9.5 and then sell the roller.
Take the drive train and put it in a A or B body dodge or early Chevy 2 or something .
somrthing with a max of a 10pt cage, 4 link or ladder bars, stock dash, ect

Treadstone makes a good product. The weight of them alone tells you its a quality piece.

I have thought this for 2 years now. Not "60-70's" replacement. But something else.
You get to the point where its not comfortable anymore with all the mods, you have taken the car as far as it will go w/o really making it a rough ride. I get it. Can't afford nor would I want to pay the mod market price for Porsche, hate Audi/Volvo/VW. So German cars are out. Kia /Hyundai is a joke. Toyota/Honda well..... No.
1,000hp 99-04 stang could be fun but over done. Not a fan of new Camaros.
If I change, it will be for a C6+ twin turbo Vette.
I got some saving to do to make that happen, so I'm stuck with this pos for a while ; ).
There, now I have publicly thought out loud.
Dburts turn.
Go ahead, get it out.

I think the e36 is way too unique and capable in so many more ways than your typical muscle car. I won't be replacing mine, but I'd like to make some additions when I get out of school.
I really want to build a 6-800whp s2000.
I'm not a fan of only being able to go fast in one direction, but I guess when you are making xxxx amount of power you have to chose one or the other.
Butters, twin turbo lsx in the e36 would be way more cool. That's my end goal for my car.

here's the deal. Every redeeming quality about it being an e36 is gone. Combine that with the fact that this drivetrain could easily go deep 8s in a setup chassis but I'm hoping for 9.5s because the IRS and weight are a joke in a e36
and bitches love muscle cars

The goal for my car has always been 'A jack of all trades' with the focus on HPDE and canyon carving BUT must still be comfortable enough that my wife and kid will still want to drive in it. Maybe it's because I live where there are some amazing twisty roads but I really don't understand why some of you take a well handling car and limit yourselves to 1/4 mile stuff. You really ought to get out on a road course and see what it's like to giver for a half hour at a time instead of 10 seconds at a time.
I also go to the drag strip but it is just a cheap thrill, as well as a 'cultural experience'. We all know what we need to do to get x.xx ET and xxx.x mph and we all know that we are going to break a bunch of stuff drag racing these cars. I'd like to get a 10 sec. 1/4 mile, I know what it will cost to get it and I don't want to make the car into a 'drag car' to get there.
I have been running high boost (25 psi) on the street and drag strip and medium boost (18 psi) at HPDE and autoX events. The 18 psi is more than enough to whip past Porsche GT3's on the track.
