I don't know how they don't tear all the cords in the sidewalls of those drag radials going that fast. I tore up two sets in one summer with my low powered little car
So I just found this thread after having been DREAMING about a 6.0 LS(q) with twin turbos up front in my 323 for years at this point. holy hell its beautiful. cant wait to follow this more as it goes.

Converter shipped friday, turbos showed up Friday. The only big ticket thing I need is an ecu and harness.
this week I should have some solid progress.
ps- Stevie fast hits the wall after the 1/8, and duct tapes the front end back together.
then the corvette that lost in the finals chucks a rod through the block, and they weld the block up and epoxy the head and makes it to the semi finals where he wins, but drops a valve. Patches it back together for the finals and loses.

Side not for the nerds-
i was over at the Dwayne mills golden gorilla pit this weekend talking to the proline guys and they recently switched to a hemi motor (nothing mopar about it) and made some new headers.
twin 106mm turbos (iirc)
2 5/8 primaries on the headers
car has almost 1:1 back pressure at 75psi of boost.
wtf.
he also uses an inductive pickup on a plug wire for the cam signal.
car goes 210ish in the eighth

but basically it's 2500-4000whp cars that should be on huge slicks, slap on 275 or 315 drag radials and go almost as fast as they would with a steam roller sized tire.

Got the shifter installed last night. Everything stock seems to fit. Ill snap some pics when im back at the shop.
Converter should be here any day so then i can get the trans in and get the swap in where it needs to be. After that, i can put the turbos on and figure out an exhuast (i dont think my current exhaust will clear the deep pan for the trans)
