Still waiting on my fricking transmission mounts from ECS so that I can put my darn car back together. When I placed the order they were in stock, and I paid extra to expedite shipping. Welp that was on Tuesday and I'm still waiting. It's been three weeks since the car has touched the ground.
I love the Range Rover, but I'm tired of lugging that heavy thing through traffic. I have to floor it to get it to do what I want it to. And I want to be able to park both cars in my garage again with these El Niño rain storms rolling through every other day.

^__who's the light weight drinking the Lite?
That IPA looks pretty tasty.
Is that the new RWD or the AWD Huracan? My manager has the AWD. That appears to have the same front end.

S'up mofros. Finally back from work travel, tons of crap sorted out, and off for the holis. Headed out this AM to get a couple new snows tossed on the front today cuz the beastly wagon ate up the current set way way too fast. Course its still 50-60F here, so any snow-gearing-up is purely talismanic mojo to keep the weather away at this point. Kinda like me dropping over a G on a shiny new snowblower while my grass still grows. WTF.

Was wondering where's gg. Haven't heard from you in a while.
Yeah Oct-Dec work was pretty crazy, multiple traveling to Europe places, and I had to prioritize time and efforts, and forum-time needed to take a cut. Things are good for sure, most of my car-project-time has been spent on the PCN stereo sorting out, and no thanks to G.A.S. I finally have a great system now that sounds amazing and is still under development so should even get better, but has nothing to do w/ the official G.A.S. solution which is still not released. What a cluster this has turned into... $500 stereo project has become closer to a $1500 for me but at least finally good results... Anyway... gotta run will be around bit more in next few weeks...

Glad your back. Sounds like year end is tough stuff on the work front. At least your home now. I just bought new skis, so I bet we get zero snow this year.
Interested to see how you solved the PCN issues.

Looking forward to hearing the new setup next time you are in town. Just pulled all the aftermarket stuff out of the E38 last night. New owner picks it up in about 30 min. PCN was sold to a forum member at a deep discount. I plan on swapping the PDX-9 over to the touring and will just keep the JL 12" for the next car. Not sure whether I will keep the BSW's or not yet. Still not sure if the next car will be an E38, W124 500e/e500 or a W211 E55...
W124 Brabus!!!!
They are so pricey though

A mysterious bright light seen by witnesses from Las Vegas to Ventura Tuesday evening was a Russian rocket body re-entering the atmosphere, not a meteor as previously thought, according to the U.S. Strategic Command.
KTLA viewer Matt Decker of Oxnard shared this image of an unexplained bright light seen on Dec. 22, 2015.
The light was first reported by dozens of witnesses shortly after 6 p.m. Hours later, around 9:30 p.m., officials said it was a Russian rocket body.
"U.S. Strategic Command's Joint Functional Component Command for Space (JFCC Space), through the Joint Space Operations Center (JSpOC), removed a Russian SL-4 rocket body from the U.S. satellite catalog as a decayed object after it re-entered the atmosphere today over North America (vicinity Arizona)," around 6:08 p.m. PST, said Deputy Public Affairs Officer Julie Ziegenhorn.
Officials could not accurately track the object after its initial contact with the atmosphere because of the damaging effects, Ziegenhorn added. Additional details were not available.
Earlier in the evening, Griffith Observatory Director Ed Krupp said the object was a bright meteor.
“The most likely thing people saw was the super heated column of air produced by a very small piece of interplanetary debris, something the size of a small pebble," he said.
Typically falling debris is natural and from our solar system, but it can also be “Earth stuff,” or debris that was in orbit that came down, Krupp said.
After the bright light streaked across the sky, people lit up social media with videos and theories as to what it could be.
It was described by witnesses online as a flaming streak, a UFO, and a meteor, and Twitter user @Trading2Wealth said there were two smaller lights next to the larger one.
Some even joked that Santa Claus was "doing a test run."
While the event seemed similar to one on Nov. 7, when an unannounced missile-test fired by the U.S. Navy prompted hundreds of people to swarm the Internet after another bright light lit up the sky in Southern California, officials confirmed it was unrelated.
KTLA's Nidia Becerra contributed to this report.

Quick pic of the new amp plate ready to go in with the processor. Basically refining the fine tuning now... Quick EQ hack worked well, first cut at "auto-eq' was terrible but now I'm sorting that out and it sounds better and better each round. Next thing to do is some better time alignment for each channel. Then go back to ground zero and probably will set EQ for each channel independently (right now I have shared EQ for front speakers but given the asymmetry introduced by the steering column that's probably not great idea.
Playing w/ a real measurement mic and software (RoomEQWizard) is really fun, can test all kinds of stuff. I wish my install in the rear was more configurable because you can test swapping phase on each driver to see what gives the best overall response... apparently between mid-range & tweeters sometimes you can get some odd behavior and sometimes flipping the phase/polarity can help but you need to measure. Unfort the PCN plate hides all that, I'd have to pull it out and then mess with my connectors back there and would all be very tedious and PITA to change each driver and then check results... Maybe some day, in meantime I have tons of stuff to play with and improve... My personal PCN thread in Audio forum will get updated over next few days with a lot of good stuff, like for most people using the stock HU with an amp or LOC, you want to flip polarity on the Front inputs to avoid some weird 'bridge' behavior, but then to compensate for that you want to flip the polarity coming out of the amp... This has been a weird area that I didn't fully get what was happening until now - had some trial and error stuff and places I thought I'd made a wiring error but now I think I understand it enough to make some good guidelines for people...
