Not sure what happened. The hood latches were temperamental to begin with.

Possibly. First attempt will probably to try to straighten out the hood enough to get it to close and put a windshield in it.
Or maybe none of that and just keep it for parts! Time will tell I suppose.

Considering a sn95 mustang with a 351w swap over the 540, tired of the ludicrous parts cost. Anybody have any experience with one, preferably with the full maximum motorsports suspension list thrown at it. Wondering how well it will handle vs the 540i

IRS or solid axle? Without IRS, the E39 will be more confidence inspiring, for sure. From my brief drives of an SN95, they are upset by mid corner bumps. They work fine on a racetrack, not so great in the canyons/mountains. I am not the only person who thinks this.

E38 is totaled. Buying it back and getting paid out more than I paid for it so I guess not bad all things considered.
Decided I’m gonna “build” my E34 after all. Currently at 75k miles, just a 530iA. Pulled the 5speed swap out of my parts car over the weekend and going to use the low miles koni adjustable and HR spring combo that was in the parts car, too.
Got these back from a friend..
Should be fun. Will get a 4.0 at some point and have a nice lil canyon carver.

The SN95 is one of the ugliest Mustang generations for me personally. I think you should sleep on your decision to sell your 540i because to me it seems you are jumping from model to model just to replace your E39. Why not just LS swap your 540i?

Took down my listing for the car, paint is getting rough in some spots these days, might look into a wrap. I've done a car before that way.
