Anyone get a little angry when working on their cooling system?! Especially that little hose across the top of the radiator...
Also, I'm getting really tired of hearing the phrase "social distancing".
Third, anyone take their garbage to the curb naked because you just don't give a darn right now?

LOL, isn't it too cold up in WA for that? Shrinkage on that little hose could be a problem.

How do you know it wasn't already an ongoing problem before he took the garbage out?

Back in 2004 I first tried Hacker-Pschorr Weisse. It was served with lemon and it became my favorite beer for a while. After I few years, I couldn't find it locally, so I'd been buying whatever cloudy wheat beers I could find.

Well, here in Buttholeville, we don't have a lot of what you'd call "Diversity" in much of anything. Local cuisine often relies on exotic flavors such as "salt" and more "salt" to liven up meals. As you can imagine, our beer selection doesn't stray far from the domestic variety. Okay, okay, enough ripping on my unfortunate geographical location.

A few weeks ago I was at the "nice" grocery store and discovered Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier. I grabbed a 6 pack and found the new love of my life.

    beers-sm.JPG

So you might be wondering about the picture. Well let me tell you about it!

Last Friday I found another distributor for this wonderful beer, so as I was at the liquor store, I noticed another variety of Weihenstephaner, and then I discovered my long lost Hacker-Pschorr Weisse. Naturally I bought all 3 for a lonely adventure in beer comparison.

Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier is definitely my all time favorite beer. Between these 3 beers, Original Premium came in 2nd, but I don't think I'll buy it again. The Hacker-Pschorr was actually a huge let down compared to the Hefe. However, once I added lemon to it, It was pretty close to the Hefe. I'm not sure how Weihenstephaner does the lemon flavor without it tasting artificial.

As a side note, Jim, I tried that Voodoo Ranger IPA. You can keep it!

I'll see if I can find your Weihenstephaner here, I'm getting low, need to wash down (my throat) the autobody sanding dust.
I'm surprised you found Voodoo in Buttholeville, it's pretty hoppy and 7%. The Imperial Voodoo is even more hoppy and 9% so you probably wouldn't like it either.
Voodoo does have a Juicy IPA that ScubaJim20 told me about. It sounded like something I'd never buy however he said it was pretty good. I did try it and liked it, not as hoppy and I think 5%.

Yeah, sometimes hoppy is good, and it's definitely the best for sandy throat. I think I did see another variety of Voodoo Ranger (not sure which one) and have been tempted to try it.

I tried some Kona Island Lager the other day and I ended up slamming a 6 pack pretty quick.

One of our neighbor's has a place somewhere in Hawaii where they spend the winters......not that it's really bad here like in MI. Last year they brought back some Kona back, pretty good brew. Hope they bring some back this year.

Made a filler piece for behind the rear seat. Should help quite a bit, was just open.

Waiting for some seam sealer to try around the shifter/trans tunnel and then I’ll slam the interior back together (less the headliner).

I had been working on my car (oil change and replace coolant tank with actual BMW tank). I was getting ready to shower and remembered the garbage needed to be put out so I said "F-it" and took it out. Yea, it was cold and raining but everyone is indoors so no one to impress (or laugh).

Good job Leo. Can you do body work? I've been into it for 3 days now, not loving it. Building the chassis and engine work is much more fun.

Yes. The local yard currently has 3 e46s, and whenever an e39 comes in, it's a pre facelift 6cyl with tan interior and nothing of value.

Everything is on-line. Fill out the year range of whatever your looking for and the day after it's in the yard they email me with the row # that the cream puff is in.
Back in the old days you'd end up walking around the yard for hours just looking for the car(s) you needed to scoop some parts off of.

Yep, except in the case of SoCal pick your parts the row numbers are essentially meaningless. Or if there is rhyme or reason to them, it’s poorly laid out.

Every so often we will get a 540 in the yards around here and I just strip them, usually full of e38s though. I have random parts I'll probably never need lol.
