I'm half tempted to start a dirty diesel E39 journal on here, might be a bit of a novelty read around here. I sort of half assed kept a photo record of everything I did. Would anybody even be interested in that?

All the exotics, and all the awesome restomods, all the motorcycles, and these are the only pictures I managed to shoot this morning.... F650 Redneck Cruizer VS The ugliest BMW ever made.

Every time I see a pickup that size and lifted as much as it is I ask myself, why? I never understood the pickup craze the USA has, is there not a task a van could do that the pick up does? Not trying to be sarcastic or anything, but what was the point in history where the pickup won over the van, was it tax related or something? But I dig muscle trucks though. Not something slow and low, but fast and slightly low. Also, LS and SBC V8s are seriously awesome packages, compared to anything BMW/Audi/Merc makes, they look like automotive lego and I want one in my life badly. The simplicity of the pushrod system, despite it's limiting factors, plus the massive aftermarket are a total win for me.

There's no reason to drive that size of pickup around. That's based on the Ford F650, which is really a small dump truck, aka "medium duty work truck" in Ford parlance.
However, for the more normal American truck vs. van, it's ladder frame vs. unibody. American pickups have a separate frame structure, which enables them to tow and haul (in-bed) loads that would bend a unibody vehicle in half.

Can't beat the LS engine line for power per dollar, massive aftermarket support for very reasonable priced parts compared to Euro cars. No pricey specialty tools required to work on them or time them.
Still love my 540, but can't wait to get my LS3 chassis rolling.
I may be getting an LT4 with 12000 miles out of a rear ended wrecked ZL1 with the six speed. Details are still fuzzy, but it’s looking good. I dub thy green snot wagon, the Snot Rocket. MuwaaahahahaHaha!
