Went out for a cigarette and to contemplate life.

What I realized is that German cars, regardless of make, are simply perfect. There is Mercedes, with their extravagance and elegance. There is Porsche, with their simplicity and pedigree. Volkswagen and Audi bring luxury with economy. And of course BMW, with innovation, luxury, and sportiness in every car, as well as perfect, timeless designs. In other words, Germany kicks a**!

And of those, imo, BMW is the greatest car maker of all time, although I may be partial

I brought the rest of my LS parts to my machinist in my E63 AMG yesterday. He asked "when are you going to buy an American car"? I replied "when their interiors no longer suck and when they actually get the luxury part right".

Are you going to refresh the Vanos on that Ls?

I cut holes in the LS heads and used JB weld to attach some Vanos units. Fingers crossed.

I like to use zip ties.

I will cover the "weld" with duct tape to try and make it look more like it's cast into the aluminum. Should be good.

So far we put on a wing, reduced the weight by 600 lbs, muffler delete, resonator delete, started painting it a bit, and replaced a rust hole with some diamond plate.
