Set the controls for the heart of the sun
I got no issue with looking at the phone regularly, or texting a lot... hey its the modern age.
What I do have an issue is... being completely absorbed in the damn thing all the time in situations when there's safety or just a little bit of respect for your fellow human involved. Specifically:
1. In situations where they are glued to the screen instead of where you MUST be 'in the real world'. Like crossing the street, or, the number of bitches who tailgate me these days and I look in the mirror and they are riding right on my bumper with their face down in the phone... Tailgating is easier I guess because they just vaguely make sure that my car is filling the windscreen in their peripheral vision, and they know they are still on the road that way.
2. In social situations where one these forkers will be having a conversation with you while staring and poking at the phone at the whole time. They are half talking to you, but 100% still stabbing away not making eye contact, and then when you're talking you know they are only getting every 5th word... You wanna use your phone? Sure, no prob. Stop our convo for a second, tell me "hey I wanna shoot a bud a message" or "I need to reply to this.." or "lemme check messages"... no worries. But don't frikkin glue your face to it and expect me to keep having a conversation with you while you drop in and out at your convenience... Eff right the eff off with that crap.

Well put GG!
And I’m on my phone now poking at it!
I prefer my iPad, honestly. It’s such a lovely device.

Not that I know of, but anything's possible. Any wheel damage or just the tire?

Little scuffing to the wheel plus a small dent but I’m hoping it’ll still hold air

Here's what caused my flat. Next time you guys buy tires I suggest a road hazard warranty. Tire rack includes them for free!

Holy crap Justine, you got some strange luck man.
Set the controls for the heart of the sun
Continental has a road hazard warranty, too, for 12 months or the first 2/32nds of tread wear.

Yeah, as I understand it it is all E 36 sedan from the b pillar forward and all weirdness-hatch behind B pillar... I bought it last Saturday and installed a larger Recaro drivers seat and moving the Cobra (too small for my fat a$$) to the pass side... I had someone weld me a bracket for it and sorting the pass side tomorrow... it’s got 1HP per 10 lbs stock and it’s TRM tuned with headers and a ridiculous short rear end, 5 speed... it’s at 4k revs at 75mph in 5th lol... accel on highway requires no downshift lol... I think I’m gonna swap in a 420G and a taller rear end to make it so there’s a 6th gear to drive to and from the track with... or I could leave the diff alone and have 6 REALLY short gears lol... The motor only has about 65,000 miles on it and the chassis about 118k, it weighs 2500lbs... corner balanced and battery moved to the back to balance out for the extra two cylinders… It is a really fun car… It’s about the same speed as my Dinan tuned N55 E88 DCT, but less weight and track parts , it was my buddy, who is an active duty marine, wife’s track car and he moved up to an S 52M roadie.... he still didn’t really want to sell it but, he definitely can use the room even though he has a three bay garage two of which have left which make for two cars per
I just finished my lightweight lithium phosphate battery swap for my 800 W with massive torque electric skateboard… It’s going to be my “ Pitt vehicle” The entire battery pack with all three batteries with shell and harness weighs about the same or less than just one of these lead acid motorcycle batteries, it’s a 36 V so they run in series… Serious weight reduction… And the best has yet to come I got a surprise for you guys… I bought a 2002 Dinan S2 M5, 63,000 miles with stage five NA bolt ons, (including 8ITB, eight large trumpets, to the point where there is a 20 mm spacer on the Plenum for them to fit, all Dinan, also has a Dinan 3.46 diff, and the oh so coveted Dinan headers... BBS wheels, some AC Schnitzer goodies and modified rear deck sub Adam minimum if not some other speakers swapped... :0
Here’s some pics, already have the stock shifter with lit shift knob ready to go on, and I might try and trade these for some style 65, but it definitely has some flavor… Not a huge fan of the Schnitzer side skirts, but I am a fan of the bumper kit front and back… He had the spoiler on but put it back to stock which I like anyway here are some pictures
So I added 2X S motor cars in one week to the stable which is very small but being expanded in the near future… Building a three or four car garage with apartment on top behind the house, hopefully to rent out to some rich college kid to help pay for it… And I also saved the “dead” battery of my 540 after I already had bought a new one for it… These AGM batteries are tricky my Schumacher charger was recognizing it not as a bad battery which it normally would, But as a 6 V battery I tried everything and then this charger I bought for the skateboard lithium batteries, has an AGM“Recovery mode“ that apparently works for lead also but not lithium of course....
It disulfates the battery.

Electric Fan conversion, 840Ci thermostat, Dinan style CAI,de-screened MAF, Dinan transmission chip, 255lph LS1 fuel pump, drilled slotted rotors, 3.15 differential, Bel rx65 radar (hard-wired). Hemi Killer!
Quiet off topic lately! (Aside from inappropriate).
Here's One...
Been having to work on our old Jeep... Bit tight in the garage w other projects going on there... and it's been heatwavey lately... So it was getting brutal in the sun wrestling w door panels and wiring and cooling systems, and when my bud the other morning said "hey maybe you should get one of those canopy things..." I remembered seeing em on sale at my local hardware store.... :15 later... Frikkin awesome! Love it. Wish I'd snagged one ages ago. Sorry for stupid too big photo. Tablet hassles.
