Yesterday I helped a friend pull the cam out of his 427 tri-power '67 Vette. New cam arrives next week.
Wrenching on a big block (or SB) is so much easier than a BMW.

Got the cam in.. but need to take it back apart, I used the wrong bolts on the cam retainer plate.

Taking an EMT class to pursue an EMT/FF career. We’ll see what happens.

@jim nice! 427 vettes are awesome. What kind of cam did he go with? Mild upgrade? I assume flat tappet

His Vette is a show car/garage queen, you can eat off the frame.
It had a Comp cam in it. He's getting one from some place in Wisconsin (forgot name) the LSA is 2º less than the Comp cam, I think the lift is the same.
He's also got two '66 Vetts, both SB.

I swapped my '33 seats with a guy that had a Cobra. His car had seats from a Miata which he didn't like, too tall.
The Miata seats recline, have slider bases, headrests, and storage pockets in the back.
The red is just a reflection from the tool box.

Man, this makes me feel better about my projects. I'm currently mudding over all the textured walls in our living room. What a nightmare. It's like doing bodywork, but not as fun because the dust is where you live.

I'll bet removing that wall made it feel like a new place. Nice work!

It's a '67. I think there's a more recent photo of it somewhere in this thread. Original 400 modified for Icon forged pistons and roller cam. Also still has the original quadrajet and ported 670 heads. Ironically it was my Mom's car since new and I'm slowly re-doing various parts of the restoration.

Dude those old cabinets were such junk that I burned them in the fire pit. Literally everything except the tile and Sheetrock has been incinerated.

Also didn’t want to pay to dispose of at dump ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
