    Been a busy winter.

    So I got a question. Can a carwash improve braking?
    Both Bimmers have been ace (no worries there /GG). The MR2 was awesome when I put him away for the winter.
    But Bob the beater B13 Sentra has always been tricky. You would think only running front brakes would make things simple.





    They were ok after a front pad replacement 2 years back, but this season they were wonky. Just didn't grab soon enough and after getting on the pedal a little more one side would lock instantly.
    Ran Bob thru a car wash, cause I couldn't see out the windows. And lose several pounds of road salt.

    Oddly enough, the braking was vastly improved.
    Coincidence?

    Running into issues with pushrods hitting the heads..


    Adjusting the rocker rollers to sit center on the valve is serious arse-ache. So once the valve train geometry is done we’ll be good to make noise.

    However if I need to clearance the heads for the pushrods it’s all coming apart again.

    Nope they didn’t make contact with anything. Got lucky I guess.

    Progress is about to come to a screeching halt because I’m actively making an offer on a house.

    However the totally crazy hiperf driveshaft you get with the kit will be here Tuesday so at the very least I can start getting the buttoned up And driving with the small block.
