Hey, Jim! Still driving the E38 and still loving it like I just got it. Keep an eye out for the January issue of Performance BMW magazine
That SL 33 sounds awesome! Would love to see that.
My latest project over the last year is a show car level but made for street use 86 Z31 300zx. My most ambitious project ever and only a few months from completion. Build thread in OT.

Nice!!! Brandon, did I ever send you a model kit of that car? If not, I should have a model of an ‘85/‘86.

I vaguely recall that you did as I have gotten a couple of model kits sent to me from bf.c members oddly enough I have a whole box of unstarted kits in my attic.
Wow, I forgot all about your Z31. Just looked at you build thread, gonna take me a while to go thru all of it. What I did see looked awesome.
Here's my build thread, a lot is just BS talk back and forth. I've got a lot more done and need to do a Dec update.

When done it will look like this.

Not sure if you noticed the Sig update, we moved from MA to NM 2 years ago. Got real tired of the long cold snow filled winters.
If anybody's looking to join an E39 Group chat (and other models) shoot me a PM and I will send you the join link.
P.S. must be able to banter ;-)

Mr. JimboLevski cape and visited me early in the fall, was nice to see him. Went for a good rip in the Chevelle.
@jim, since our blast, I changed the quick fuel 850 carb to a Holley XP 950 and holy moly what a difference. Didn’t touch anything else.
It roasted the Tires before, but now it’s just out of control.
How have you all been?

Hey Leo, good to hear from you, was wondering where you disappeared too.
Good pick on the XP950, looks like I'm going to have to come back again to smell more rubber.
The Chebby looks awesome, did you get it painted or is that some photoshop work?
I'm going to be updating my '33 build today so come back and check it out.
The body is finally on the chassis, looks really mean. No doors or windows yet.
Very cool man. I love the old GM stuff.
I have this 64 Chevelle, a 64 impala, an 87 suburban K2500 and just bought an 88 Suburban K1500.
The Chevelle has a 496 stroker I built out of a 454. Forged scat rotating assy. AFR aluminum heads, custom Comp roller grind, 10.6:1 CR, etc etc etc. it’s supposed to be about 600/650crank.

Here’s what happens when you drive a decent car, according to Audi, a 2012 A8 into the ghettos in Washington DC. Funny how this puny little 9mm slug ends up totaling the car. Insurance company wanted us to just hammer the entry hole out, weld the hole shut, do some body work and call it a day.... We’ll, since we are a certified Audi repair shop, we have some rules that we need to abide to. Since the slug sailed thru the structural beam, we now have to cut out the quarter panel to replace the beam. We are not allowed to repair it. So replacing that, and the quarter, totals out the car.. If the car gets nailed in the ass and someone gets hurt, for not replacing the beam, we open ourselves up to a lawsuit. 66,423 miles on the clock, if the guy doesn’t keep the car , I’d like to keep track of it and bid at the auction it ends up in, repair the beam, patch the quarter panel, enjoy the car.

If your shop isn’t Audi certified, you cannot order the aluminum beam and the aluminum quarter panel. If it was an A4 or A6, you could.
