Very nice article, it's cool that they interviewed you. The car shows extremely well. Congrats to you and all that were involved in the build.
    Well deserved.

Quick question, for you M62 guys, is it easier to pull the engine by dropping the subframe on the floor and lifting the car off around it or is it a better idea to use an engine lift?

This question has been answered many times before. You could do it either ways. Just depends on what is most convenient for you.

Curious to know how many here like to watch or follow the Vehicle Virgins guy and his vlogs? Anybody recently read the stories about Dime Racing that are now in big trouble?

I met Parker in 2015 at the Legends of the Autobahn event in Monterey. At the time he seemed like a really nice and genuine guy, but that was also before he had his first Lamborghini and before the channel was mainstream.

Bumped into him this year on the Monterey Fuel Run. Still seemed nice.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't watch his content or follow him on social platforms; he doesn't really make content I personally want to sit down and enjoy, and I definitely don't enjoy the clickbait. I think he's a nice dude, if a bit immature and frat guy-ish, that's gotten a bad rap that he can grow out of.

I had no idea who this guy was (uhhh because self absorbed YouTurd sellebrity retard yakkers are for 15yr old kids who are too immature to realize how stupid and banal they are) and 3 mins into that video I wanted to hunt him down and beat him down on his own hideously ugly tasteless lime Lambo for being such a whiny little rich kid moaning about oooh how super super hard it was to decide whether to go turbo or go supercharger on his supercar that he pretends is a job...

But reluctantly OK he doesn't seem like THE biggest YouTurd sellebrity douche ever and indeed he got totally screwed by those ass clowns. But that's a low bar. Not-the-biggest-douche still leaves a lot of douche.

    This is quite funny.

    aaarrrrgggh.

I've said it before - EFF all those CL sellers who don't know how to check their email junk folder for replies to their ads and don't leave an actual contact method like a real email or phone number, but use the CL-generated-email. goddamn morons. if you are going to use that, be sure you can get and check the forking email replies you get to it. too many massive stupids all up in this joint.

Yeah, I don't watch any of his video at all and really have a great dislike for him. In fact, there a lot of these so called YT auto vloggers that I don't really follow at all. I do follow one though since he's got an R32 GTR which I like a lot and along with other cool stuff he does, but that's about it.

I've always loved B is for Build as others on here have said, I also love KYLE.ENGINEERS, I learn a ton of stuff from his channel. Also like channels like Petrolicious that spotlight cool/famous/rare/oddball cars. Another one that I just started subscribing to is VINwiki, they have some cool stories XD

The most informational, technical, great content that I follow are a few from your list namely: Bad Obsession Motorsports, Finnegan's Garage, and Jafromobile. That's about it. Have you tried watching Sloppy Mechanics? He mostly deals with shevvy engines with boost.

I used to watch EricTheCarGuy back in the day, saw one or two videos from Engineering Explained but not anymore, and there are probably few more that I do recognize in the list but I don't watch them anymore.

Yeah, I just watch whatever looks interesting, but I watch every Bad Obsession and Jafro video. Great info.

I found EricTheCarGuy when I first got into cars, when I needed to know how to conduct a PPI, and I've just kept following his stuff. His Fairmont is absolutely awesome; a 575whp sleeper that actually handles? Sign me up!
