Yup--heated. I'm not sure, but it seems like they're all heated. I think I got the glass at Bavarian Autosport (I've had it all winter waiting for warmer weather to make the plastic pliable). I didn't like the way it came apart or the way it snapped together, but everything worked out. I got lucky that time--usually nothing works the way it's supposed to. I've learned to be quite skeptical of DIY videos... They're extremely helpful, but there's always a lot they don't tell you about the various things that can go wrong.

Changed the left front door actuator. Problem was that the car belived the door was open all the time so central lock didn't work and alarm didn't activate. Now problem fixed, everything works nicely again.

Fitted TA-Technix coilovers. Feels ok. Time will tell how the shocks holds up...

Applied "303 Aerospace Protectant" to all the rubber seals and plastic molding. The stuff seems to work good--looks good anyway (immediately made my dry-looking window seals look top-notch).

Wrong thread. (This thread is more like a journal.)
There are a number of posts already covering this topic on the forum, search for those...try to source the leak.
If you can't find it easily then start a NEW thread, provide a detailed description and preferably pictures.

Pulled the air intake out and cleaned everything up--planning to put some heat barrier material and tape around the box and piping.

FINALLY! got all the parts for my 03 330ci. It has clogged downflow cat, so it has a major loss of power when accelerating. I got my new catless exhaust, new flange gaskets, new MAF, aux cord for my CD player, and a really cool Michigan BMW sticker.

Wrapped my intake piping with heat barrier material--waiting on a sheet of it to wrap the air box. It has to help some, but the question is how much? I doubt it'll be noticeable, but every little bit counts, and the the only thing it hurts a little is my wallet. Cleaned my MAF while I was at it.

Thanks. I'm having some //M3 rocker panels painted too. They should be ready by the weekend. Now all that I need painted is the //M hood and the bumper. I haven't decided on what bumper I want. I've been considering the M, CSL, and the reiger CSL. Once these are done, I don't think I'll be doing much more to the exterior. I thought about diffuser, but can't find one that would go with the flow of the lines. The only clean one I like is the ACS diffuser, plus I'm not going to change the exhaust to a dual.

Steering rack, PS reservoir, hose, tie rods, sway links, and tires. Brought my own sandbags to a local Chevy shop to have it aligned. The mechanics were nervous as this was the first bimmer they've ever aligned. They did a great job. My husband was there to talk them through it so that helped. Next up, cooling system overhaul.

Got a local vert specialist coming by today to look at my top... Yesterday I cleaned up the 68s hosed off the car, and shined the conti EC DW's... Weekend quality now... Now if only this top can get fixed soon I'll be good to go...

Got a nice little pile of parts waiting to install, gates belt servicing kit (tensioner belt and idler pulley) Oil filter housing to engine block gasket, new Vanos hose... And I preemptively bought a new wire harness for the convertible top and both man sensors, thinking might as well overhaul the top

Drove from Kansas to NC over the last two days. No issues outside of my wife hitting a pothole in Indiana and bent one of our brand new rims. Swapped it to the rear but I'll have to be replaced.

Finally got my 24" x 48" sheet of adhesive-backed heat barrier material ($65), and the stuff adheres very well--better than the barrier tape I purchased at AutoZone (which was okay). Used newspaper to make templates for cutting the mylar. I could have gotten away with two square feet, since all I did was cover the major surfaces of the airbox facing the engine (to reflect the radiant heat).

I also found some wiring under the intake housing where a plastic tie-wrap had worn through the outer casing, so I repaired that with liquid electrical tape. Fortunately, the wire insulation was still intact. It's definitely good to get in there and look around.

By the way, I let a buddy of mine test-drive my car, and now he's looking for one!

Replaced the subframe that supports the engine. Why? Hit a nasty pothole 10+ years ago. Car's highway handling sucked: the car wandered. Finally found that the right LCA balljoint shaft had elongated the hole in the subframe. The hole is actually a steel tube with a wall thickness of about 3/8"! I told you it was a nasty pothole!

5 days, 8 states, and 2400 miles later my cross country trip and back is completed. Zero issues outside of the pothole issue that I stated earlier.

Replaced the wood trim on my front passenger door--$40 on Ebay (BavarianExperts). Came in excellent condition with replacement fasteners.

Replaced the right rear window regulator (cabling had balled up inside the spool).
