Replaced both xenon lamps after a Flickr problem. 330xi...
Dropped the top in the 330ci and joy rode all day long.... Still waiting for LED H8s
Just realized that H8 is only for e39, wow I can't believe I ordered the wrong bulb... Twelve years of buying parts for only a BMW 540i I must have gone on digital autopilot when I ordered the damn things... What a dumb move, I did however a mediately order a proper sized pair of LED fog lights, and I'll have a spare set for my e39 I guess is the bright side pun intended... I have a couple e39 friends that might want them, but I'll probly just hold them... Always good to have spare parts....

lol thats funny the projectors I bought they sent me the 2 door lights instead of the sedan so the corner light that came with the light didnt fit (good thing I ordered the smoked seperate) and I had to retrofit the lenses from my old lights but got it to work so now I have brand new coupe lenses and corners that dont fit either of my cars

Valve adjustment
Checked fluids, power steering flush, topped off everything including petrol, and.... Dropped the top and ran errands the majority of the day...
Got some new, and expensive, BMW brand wiper blades for my 330ci,....
one broke off at 90+ mph on the highway last night during heavy rain, hit some poor sap in a Nissan, conditions were poor, I feel bad for the guy, I even feel worse for the idiot who put the shitty wiper blades on in reverse order, thinking they were doing the car and next owner a favor, when in actuality they were doing a disservice and serious road hazard for at least 2 vehicles,... after it broke off it was just metal on glass which is probably one of the worst sounds that the human ear can hear, so I put a cotton knit glove over it until I could let my tech look at it and buy a set from him, his five star BMW shop is literally a mile from my house, very convenient anytime I have the slightest little question I just drive over there, have access to some of the most knowledgeable BMW mechanics in Atlanta, at a moment's notice... very honest mom and pop kind of place all of their invoices and receipts are handwritten, and they love getting paid cash...
Rtabs and the rear diff bushing. There goes 7 hours of my life that I'll never get back.
Blew my upper radiator hose, 30 minutes before my BMW tech closed, a mile away from my house, where luckily the hose blew, my house not the mechanics garage although I kind of wish it had been now... thank God, if it had happened anywhere else I would have been waiting for roadside assistance on a very busy rush hour day... Anyway went a mile down the road to my local BMW tech bought a new upper return hose, but I cannot for the life of me get the old one off and I am fearful of breaking the radiator I have already put a few notches in the outer inner lip or whatever, nothing too bad now,. I gave up as the temperatures and daylight were dropping quick... I figure I'll let the engine bay completely cool down to 30 whatever degrees tonight and then wrap a hot washcloth around the hose clamp tomorrow morning and see if I can work it from each side... Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Fixed my upper radiator hose, finally bled the system properly, and now.... My power steering hose that goes from res to cooling coil is ruptured in several places... Had to be the hot coolant blowing all over it on top of me reaching around under there, now it's dripping all over my alternator... Bad.... I did as good of a bandage job to it until I can get it to my tech tomorrow to have the hoses replaced...
Just dropped the CI off at my tech to fix the power steering lines going to and from the reservoir... Took it at 8am maybe he will get to it today and at least one of my BMs will be drive able on Xmas... The roads are too wet for my Dinan 5 and will be until I can get it in the shop next week for new radiator
Installed Shark Injector program--I LIKE! Improved throttle response and oomph at low-end and, if there's ever a cold day in hell, I can blow past 130mph. I got my chip as a Cyber-Monday special for $270--definitely worth it.
Today, I washed her and pulled out the cup holder to refinish--the rubber paint was pretty worn,m so I'm going to repaint it.
Finished refinishing the cup holder and coin tray with Plasti-Dip. Looks pretty good--just letting it dry good before installing.
Cleaned the rain splash from the Xmas monsoon... cleaned wheels tires and shined them, cruised it top down 77 degree mostly sunny December 26th, disorienting but welcomed, reminded me why I got a drop top...
Bout to go put in my New PROPER SIZED LeD fog light bulbs 6000 kelvin
Just installed 6 new OEM Bosch coil packs, with new NGK 3199s and and cleared the "service engine soon" light. Original coils had 203,000 on them. No more misfire and its very smooth once again. I'm not sure if it's in my head, but it seems more responsive.
