The diys make it seem more than a few simple splices. And with as many issues as I've had with my car, I'm not hacking up the wiring

not an E39 but never actually seen a Z1 for sale in the US
Wow, 1500 miles on the Z1!!!
Set the controls for the heart of the sun
And it is gonna go nowhere but up, for the rest of that cars life.
Set the controls for the heart of the sun
Eh, if I wanted a Z1 I'd just import one, they can be had for waaaaaay cheaper than that. And who wants a 1500 mile car anyways?

I thought it was the factory ejector seats option. The forward rake ensures when you smash into an object you are cleanly ejected from the windshield without hitting the steering wheel.

Sign that the end is near. M5's at pull a part.
Of course it's in California. But it went for less than $500 from whatever auction it was in, cause that's the max pull a part pays.
Eh, my wagon has 193k miles, I'd hardly call it end of life. It's in better shape than most 540i's with 130k miles.

Cool, maybe the M5 interiors will eventually come down in price. I want to get a set of M5 front seats for the touring but everyone seems to want $1000+ for the pair. Clemster is too far away from me, unfortunately.
