LOLOLOL too bad my POS isn't running.
Opelika eh, get to see what the good ol boys all about. Be warned, everybody you meet out there is related. Bobbys wife mary-ann is also his sister. And his cousin.
Their daughter has three eyes and fourteen fingers. And a toe on his forehead.
And if you see a group of middle aged pot belly hicks dancing around a fire wearing bed sheets, slowly back away, don't say a word, and leave.

this will be the third year in a row for this trip. i wouldn't say i have the area committed to memory, but i have the lay of the land down pretty well.
inbreeding is much more prolific in your part of the country than mine. so it's always interesting to observe when i travel.
we have those good ol' boys in white up here too. hell, Indy has a sordid past with the boys in white. whitestown and brownsburg are neighboring suburbs just outside Indy, and the mascots of the New Palestine MS & HS are the Dragons.
it was an interesting place to live, but i now have almost a full county between my house and Indy...and i'm glad for it.

Experiment time. Got some cheap generic fuel injection hose from the auto parts store and submersed it in some e85. Let's see how it holds up..
So far 24hrs in and no signs of any breakdown.

Incorrect logic there. The outer covering of hose is a different rubber than the inner liner unless it is submersible as Butters has said. A failed fuel line can take out your engine or cause a fire, both of which can wreck your day. Just save up a few more penny's and buy the right stuff.

I understand this. I currently have a piece of cheap, generic fuel injection hose submersed in a Gatorade bottle filled with E85; both the inner and outter lining of the hose is being exposed to E85. I plan to leave it in there indefinitely, or until it degrades if it does. If it doesn't degrade being submersed, it wont degrade serving as an external fuel hose running outside the tank, that's what I was saying.
I did buy E85 rated hose for the front half of my fuel system, but not PTFE. Since I am leaving the rear lines by the tank stock, I am just replacing them with new rubber hose. I have no reason to believe there will be an issue. But if the piece of hose I submersed in E85 begins to degrade, I will just replace the rear hoses as well...

I just run all Gates brand hose in everything in my car. It's cheap and their fuel injection hose does specifically say E85 safe. Again I think all modern hoses are but hey if it specifically mentions it obviously your safer.
