Nice! ordered all the akg reinforcement stuff and their 95A lineup for bushings and some rogue engineering trans mounts. Thanks for the advice on all that!

    Guys... confession time

I met up with a bunch of locals. Got my ass handed to me by a 650whp cts-v.

    Got pulled by a fender by a 500whp 335.

Least I pulled a 2016 camaro ss with an exhaust and tune, 8 speed auto from a dig.

I think my days with the 256 are numbered...

It's been a solid turbo, but I want to hang with the big dogs locally and this 56mm ain't gon' cut it any more...

I do have gopro vids btw. Just gotta edit them...

Pt6266, pt6466, gtw6265, gtw6265, gtx3582r or newer version, efr8374, etc. You need to step up from a 500 rwhp turbo to a 700 rwhp turbo. You wont lose much response since you will use a much smaller turbine housing. But you may start breaking stuff if you have traction.

Problem is none of those are in the budget. I'm probably going to get a s366 with a 0.88 turbine housing. Just the only realistic option for me...

What brand are those camber arms? I ask because I've seen the ebay arms break at the same spot on two of my friends cars.

Your issue with all of those cars is torque. Fix your ar and itll get there probably.. or yeah a different turbo.

I really hope you go with a sxe s300 with open scroll. It would be worth it.

How do you think the response will change going from the 1.22 open 56/61 S256 to the 0.88 or 0.91 open 66/73 S366? Will the 25% smaller turbine A/R offset the 10mm bigger wheels?

I honestly don't know but I hope that's the case.

Save up for it. From the results I have seen it will be well worth it. They say an S366sxe spools faster than a cast S362. 3 months from now you will wish you could spend the extra $200 difference to upgrade.

Not even 900$ that's a solid price for what you get. Plus you would have all the power you wanted out of it. I'm sure it could run 900HP with some fuel or Meth

I would definitely try to buy one with an EFR compressor wheel over an older and heavier cast wheel if there was any way I could afford it, unless maybe there is a journal bearing Garrett or PT that would spool faster while still giving you the power you want for similar money.

His 1.22 A/R is a divided inlet. They are a T4 footprint but have a T3 volute size...so for comparison use a Garrett divided T3. Not exactly the same, but dont use T4 numbers.

Keep in mind the S256sx is a GT3076R "comparable" size turbo. The S300sx is more like a GT35 comparable turbo which is more fitting for your engine displacement IMO. The borgs just spool faster and move more air (even though they are JB) than the Garrett GTs and cost way less

A S362SXE will probably have similar response to what he has now if he uses the .88 open or .91 divided. He has the new Steed right? Have to go divided flange then!!

An S300 is the same frame size as a GT40. Where have you seen an S300 of any size out spool a gt35r?

The S200SX produces more power and spools faster than the GT30s even though the wheel sizes are much bigger. The S300 is often compared to the GT35. Maybe its wrong, but thats the common comparison I have seen.

Awesome! I saw my friend had the ebay arms and wanted to warn him about them breaking but didn't. They broke at the event the very next day so now I'd rather play it safe and warn people. I really think you'd like the sx-e man. It would be worth spending a bit more now.

I think a little bit of makeup and some long hair and lip stick and I'd be sexy as hell. I'd definitely make some good money blowing dudes in a truck stop bathroom or something. Thanks for the inspiration!
