If the ambulance service does indeed write a $2300 check, I'll end up pocketing $2k if I can bend my rad support back out. It's only tweaked in one place.

Hoping to get a new m52 long block to start building this week. I have an s52 crank already.

    List of things I might want;
    1) Meth kit
    2) gopro
    3) pistons/rods
    4) seats
    5) new turbo (s362, s363sxe, s364sxe, s363sxe??? ) can't decide..
    6) ?????

Not really sure what I really want most. Turbo is pretty low on the list. That will probably happen when I pull the engine...

    Pulled front end apart today.

I think I'll be able to pull the rad support out. It's only bent in 1/2" or so. I'ma put a ratchet strap between it and my jeeps hitch, should come out no problem.

New nose panel came in today.

    New bumper gets here tomorrow.

New grilles, bumper brackets, fog brackets,hl hardware, etc ordered today..

Should paint them within a few days and get this b**ch back on the road.

De ja vu sucks when it's real! If you make more power (bigger turbo) won't you need to invest into a new clutch?

    What ya mean?

I might need a new clutch? Running the fx stage 4 6 puck right now. I don't know what its limit is for street driving; so far its been amazing though. But I won't be getting a new turbo until I put in another engine, so I can maybe look into a new clutch set up at the same time. Pulling the turbo off this manifold looks like too much of a pain in the ass to do in car for it to be worth it to me...

Also the federal 255s rub pretty bad in the rear. They are ridiculously big. They are more like a 275 in every other tire brand. They are fine without me in it, but with me in it they rub quite a bit. Gonna roll my rear fenders soon...

Déjà vu, from French, literally "already seen", is the phenomenon of having the strong sensation that an event or experience currently being experienced has already been experienced in the past. It's real for you lol.

Probably around the limit of that fx4. I think 500-550 is about it. Next step = $1k-2k clutch options.

Yeah from what I've grasped 400-550 HP is in a lower tier of cost vs 600+ HP then stuff starts to get pricey for my standards.

it's been my experience that you buy the most expensive things first....especially when you have a big chunk of cash laying around.
much easier to buy less expensive parts as money comes in than to have all the 'cheap' parts and be saving for the big ticket items.
specifically, i vote get your built engine together with your proceeds.
always trying to make it lighter and faster

Damn things are falling my way..
Just got a $700 financial aid check from school that I forgot to collect last semester.

At doktor, yeah, that's my plan as of now. Still waiting for some pistons and rods to pop up for sale on here though so I don't have to buy new...

Making progress. Sanded and primed new nose panel today.

Ordered black coupler to replace the ugly red one.

Went and painted nose panel today! Turned out fantastic. My best paint work yet.. looks professional!

Three coats of Boston Green. First 2 coats were laid down thick. 3rd coat was light to make the metallic pop.

Two coats of 2k clear. Both coats laid on VERY wet.

I get my base coat from Sherwin Williams automotive.

    Pretty inexpensive, great color match.

Sorta reinstalled nose panel today. Haven't tightened down hood latches or installed the 4 nose panel to rad support bolts. And hood isn't shut. But you get the idea. Looks great to me, panel fits great. Haven't washed the poor car in months.
