No way. OBD2 dipstick tube is significantly larger than OBD1. Not even close.

it has happened to me, I'm telling you with certainty if you get too much crank pressure it will squirt oil out if the second port.

Ah. I'm not even sure if I need another one. I have two -10 AN fittings on the valve cover venting. But more can't hurt especially from the other end of the engine.

You could drill and tap the obd1 tube 1/2 way up, maybe 1/8- 1/4 NPT --> barb fitting. Then run a hose to your catch can.

I haven't installed a catch can yet but I do have one. Maybe when I replace my intake manifold I'll take a look at the dipstick. Idk if I have any oils leaks because my power steering was leaking and my trans is too.

Got more done on the underpanel /lip today.

    What do you guys think?

It will be painted black, a rad baffle will be added, and maybe some bracing.

Also installed el cheapo slim 16" electric fan on the front of the radiator. I think I am going to wire it to the factory aux fan wiring.

    Also painted intercooler brackets black.

Would something like this work as a safety measure in the event of an overboost? http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Pressure...8AAOSwxCxT-~Uh

Thinking I could put that in the intake manifold. For $20 seems like cheap insurance, assuming it would work/prevent damage if.. say the wg line was damaged.

Thats what I was concerned about.

I think ill get a cheapo 44mm wg and stick it on the cold side charge pipe and use it as a safety relief valve.

I have never used a safety valve. Your S256 flat out might do 500-550 rwhp. Not sure you could get in much trouble.

Couldn't hold boost due to 8# spring. But made 660@ 18-19 psi. Boost was jumping all over, 18/19/20/21 ,up top was 18-19.
I'm hoping with new manifold and stiffer spring to hit 700 sub 24 psi.

Well cool, you should definitely be in the 7s before 24... Im planning on running 20-21 on pump if i can get away with it and hoping to be above 650.

I'd suggest an Electronic Boost Controller and some lower pressure spring as the safety. Really that's what I love about the SCG-1, it is both the wideband and the boost controller so it can cut boost if you start to lean out.

If I were you I would make the wastegate line out of brake line. Can't come off, can't melt. If you want another line of over boost protection, get a normally closed adjustable pressure switch and wire it inline with the +12V supply to the injectors.

    http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...&Store_Code=tp

Don't put a wastegate on the charge pipe, they have no o rings in the valve seat so they are not air tight.

As a general rule probably true but the ones that have an engine valve looking valve and seat could seal just as well as the valves in the head.
