Medical field is a smart career path these days -- easy to find work anywhere in the country, even in the world, and it pays decently enough to support a car hobby, unless maybe you have a family to support instead. Now you can buy a daily driver/tow vehicle and trailer for your drag car.

I started getting oil in the piping right around 11 psi but hasn't gotten worse at 18psi. Running t4 JB 6262 Precision. May need to try this vent line.

    OP,
Congrats on graduating. To this day, one of my biggest accomplishments. The additional moneyz is very nice.

    Thanks!
    Question;
I'm gonna be getting a second fuel pump soon. Would it be stupid to put a bulkhead on the bottom of the drivers side of the gas tank to feed an inline pump?

    Dammnit.
    And thanks!
Would putting a bulkhead in the top of the fuel pump hanger and just running a hose down to the baffle be a better way to supply an inline?

Some people also do backflips on dirt bikes with no helmets. Remember the OP driving over a pipe on the interstate and ruining his exhaust? Now add a 1" hole in the bottom the gas tank to that.

Met with Zack today; we turned up the boost another 1 psi.
Added a bit of fuel and timing and feels real good now.
Gonna get on the dyno in the next week or so and see where she is at.

We cleaned up the fuel, added a bit of timing and upped the boost to the next click on his mbc.

His boost isnt stable up top so we discussed a few things before pushing it anymore. He is still running the 85psi walbro which has to be relieving, that little intercooler, a tiny filter, and a 12 psi spring.

Hopefully he knocks out these before the dyno

I really don't like how the AEM Truboost tapers off a couple PSI. How bad is the MBC? You'd notice a huge difference in spool up if you went to an electronic one. I saw full boost at least 300rpm sooner just from some tweaks on the settings but I miss how when I was on WG pressure it would be rock steady boost from the hit until redline

If youre tapering try a stiffer wg spring or a different boost controller pressure pickup location.

You're right, anything less than 18psi is pretty much a toyota camry anyways

    What does +1 psi mean ? 14 to 15 ? Or 28 to 29 ?
I would drop the coin on an Eboost2 or eboost street. Clamp that gate shut till you want it to open.

Well raj's boost gauge is really twitchy i was seeing about 3-4 psi increase under peak boost. On the higher boost setting it was 24psi. I was watching afr/rpm more than boost though. Note that he was tapering down to 17psi..

Car feels a good bit faster.
Seeing 24ish psi and it tapers off at redline.

Id like an EBC but in my immediate future, a new IC needs to be purchased. Im still running a 3" $75 ebay IC. That has got to be costing me a decent bit of power.

I was thinking the 1045; I was thinking a thicker core would be more beneficial than then extra height. Whats your opinion?

I think the extra height is better because it exposes more surface area of the core material than a thicker core would. Probably leads to better cooling

Raj the closer to square You are the better flow you have but Youll need ducting to get the air through at some point.

Id stab the 4.5" in there.
