That 257 wont make enough power to bend your rods. Assuming you don't knock, which you shouldn't with the TRM tune! I pushed my 256 way past what I should have on 93 and never had any knocking. Running 20psi from that tiny turbo in 100*F heat was asking for trouble, but never had any!
And to think this all started with a stubborn "na for lyfe" who asked for a ride :p

Not sure if you've already bought pistons but I have a set of 86.5mm 9:0:1 je pistons I may be throwing up for sale soon. They have around 5k miles on them and are in near mint condition. Thinking of going high comp since I have the motor out and torn down.
Would anyone trade me a GOOD set of OBD1 coils for my like new OBD2 coils?
I purchased these OBD2 coils from FCPeuro for $300 at the start of this build so they have like a year and 15k miles on them.
I wish my car was off the road. I still drive it almost every day. I'd trade you in a heartbeat. I have Bosch OBD1 coils with MAYBE 20,000 on them. Why do you think you need OBD1 coils? I was planning on wiring/re-plugging my OBD1 coils to work with my conversion to OBD2.

I have 6 86.5mm JE pistons with new rings, eagle rods.
New bearings.
New 87mm cut ring head gasket.
All new gaskets top and bottom.
