Got the motor on the stand.
    Wiring harness and turbo removed.
Tomorrow I will tear it down and find out what went wrong...

Soooo got the head off. I'll try and get the pistons out later but some preliminary pics. Essentially, every piston and every cylinder looks roughly the same :

    Any input?

Do they all come to TDC when you turn the crank?

Crank is stuck in its current spot, doesn't want to rotate any further, at least not without a lot of resistance.

Starter would turn it over. I'm sure I could but I'm just leaving it as is for now.

    i lol'd.

also, if it sticks rotating it one way, try reversing the direction you're cranking the motor over.

or flip it over on the stand and pull the pan. you'll be able to see your...

See if they all come up to the deck at the same height as Someguy said. Any low ones have a bent rod.

Don't even waste time, rip them rods out and change them. You can fix the lifter on round 2.

After watching the video again it sounds like an exhaust leak tick. At least we are getting new rods out of the deal.

Lol you guys. I haven't even pulled the pistons.

Will be doing that today. But I got new rods so that's happening regardless.

It was down on compression though so it can't just be a lifter or exhaust leak

Correct, compression was really low in 3 cylinders.

Also, no it wasn't just a lifter tick or exhaust leak lol. Chikinhed is just being a troll :p
