    Last 7 of the VIN work in the decoders.

    The spoilers were a common item added to early cars when they came out in late 84 and could be purchased as an accessory item from the dealers complete with brackets and fog lights.

    No such thing and an m635 badge and the rear spoiler was an early euro 635 thing. It was never offered on the M6 or m635.

    The usual decoder I tried didn't work, but another did. 01/1980 USA 633 CSi, manual transmission, but no other details.

    Looks to me like somebody may have gotten a pretty good deal on that M635 (the REAL one, that is). Nice car; even has its original Becker Mexico head unit. Wow.

    Congrats mate, I think your car looks really good. Very nice colour and the accents on the wheels along with the yellow fogs really enhance it.
