E39 5.3 Turbo Swap Completed

I unfortunately did not do a build thread for this car but I figured I would post the final product.

Sweet! Let's see some details!

Here is the short run down.

Completely stock 5.3
Ebay GT45 (go ahead and hate)
Areomotive 340 pump and A1000 reg.
80lb injectors
Holley EFI
T56 with twin disk mcleod clutch

It has not been professionally tuned yet(so no numbers yet) . But, have driven roughly 500 miles on 7 psi spring and it runs strong.

The holley efi is fantastic. Drives like a stock 540 until you get into boost.

Factory cluster is working and a/c compressor is still in place. Just waiting for the a/c guy to get free and make up hoses.

It will probably be sometime after the holidays and only looking at running 14-15 psi max. Not looking to be the fastest. Just something fun to drive.

Still need to get water injection and diff installed over winter. (still stock open diff )

I will try and get some pictures. It routes in between the engine mount and block back over the starter.

That sucks! I guess it will give you the ability to get very familiar with the car. Look forward to updates.
